Need Advice on Selling a Domain Name

I have a (what I consider to be) a great domain name and would like to offer it for sale. I was considering using sedo.com. Is there a better option?

I've sold domains similar to this in the past but it was always initiated by someone else who approached me with an offer. I've had this one for a few years and have yet to do anything with it... so thought I would sell it.

Thanks,
Tim

Never sold just a domain name myself, just sites with domain name. Of course the obvious might be Ebay. Sitepoint, Digital point, ect? You probably already thought of those.

Sedo is one of the most popular places to sell your domains. If you don't like that option then you can always do some research to find out where domainers (spelling) meet and shope their wares. Good luck!

    Hi Tim,

Your best bet is probably to submit it to Moniker's upcoming auction at Moniker Auction Headquarters

That's not an affiliate link, just a link to the right page so you don't have to search around for it like I did. The deadline is tomorrow though so you need to get it done soon.

I just started a WSO last night with some of my domains and websites. I've never done this before so I can't say what the results will be yet and it's only for one day because I'm submitting those names to the auction tomorrow at noon.

Be sure to read the terms because it will tie up your domain for a time after the auction even if it doesn't sell during the auction.

If the name is really top notch you might try a domain name broker such as Kevin Nations or Rick Latona. They will actively promote your name. PM me for their contact info if you need it.

Out of the domain name marketplaces I've had the most success with Sedo. You can get a Featured listing on the Home page for 30 days for $39 or a Category Featured listing for $9.

    Warmest regards,

I had tried with websitebroker.com and it works . They have nice response . First will be FREE . But next you have to pay . You can try there also go daddy is another place . But do you have your Domain parked or do your appraisal certificate then it can be more easily to sell .
