To the OP: don't do it. You are asking for trouble. If you don't understand why, well, perhaps this article might help ...

Yeah you never, ever want to use copyrighted images on your blogs. There are many websites that you can use to find good images that are not copyrighted.

    Hi Arya,

Yeah I have bought training programs before and within the video demonstrations they are even taking copywritten images live!

I always thought it was a bit risky showing it live but I think that there are that many people doing it they must just pursue the ones who are doing it on a large scale or even selling them.

You can get cheap images almost anywhere and you could do a quick search on Google and look for PLR images etc.

It depends how many images you need I suppose.

You could look here at this very forum in the "Prodcuts & Services" section.

Hope this helps and all the best!!!

well you can purchase images from providers like serif which is quite economical, you can also get royalty free images from sites like istockphoto, flickr and there are many economical graphic creator software in the market, you can use them to create yourself. So there are lots of ways to achieve it, i will also suggest not to copy protected images.

With all due respect, for the sake of others who would like information from people that have the faintest idea what they're talking about, I'd suggest you cease giving out advice on this forum until you understand what you're giving advice on.

If you took an image I made and put a "credit" by it, or which site you decided to pinch it from, I'd come after you because you didn't bother asking me if you could steal my picture, my property and put it on your site for your own personal gain.

Absolutely clueless advice but at least you flashed your signature.

Most people here have the same thing on their minds and let me join in to. Do not do it. I once read an online article about Getty images suing regular people and then winning. Boy! You wouldn't want to be in their shoes. How about going for free images from websites like freedigitalphotos.net? Or something similar?

There's a myth floating around that if you do use a photo without permission you'll get a cease and desist letter, you take it down and eveyone is happy. But what might happen is that even though you remove the image the owner may demand compensation for the use of the image and that could cost you big time. It's just not worth it when there are so many alternatives.

I find it hard to understand why the question has even been asked...

What do you think "copyright" means?

It's not just a label - and an image (or anything else for that matter) does not need the copyright label to be copyrighted. Copyright applies implicitly, as soon as the creator creates an image, an article, etc.

It is easier to prove copyright in a court of law if the creator has, indeed, registered his/her copyright - but registration is NOT required by law. Nor does the law require that the owner label each use of the copyrighted material. It's existence implies copyright.

As soon as you use someone else's material, you can be held liable for that usage.

Whether the copyright holder wins a suit, or not... you can't afford the legal fees to defend your use of someone else's property.
