How would you advertise your local offline biz using IM?

Warrior forum! This is my first post and I am interested in your opinion! Heres the scoop, I work for a local pest control company in Albuquerque New Mexico. My boss is one of the greatest and he is now on the road to retirement, I believe he is almost done with the whole process.

He's not retiring because he is filthy rich, more so because he wants to enjoy the 'golden years'. (a direct quote)

Because he has been such a great boss, I want to make him rich!

I have many ideas that I have already implemented and will post about but I'm curious to how you would approach this task.

    Well I mean ask your self this question.

    You want to help make him rich correct? How do you want to do this, increasing sales? Increasing client basis? What?

    I mean if you are looking for internet marketing for your business you need to ask your self this question.

    Do the research is there alot of people searching for your type of service and product in that area? Do you happen to travel alot? Do you give consultations?

    Also the last thing is do you have the money for internet marketing because alot of companies like ourself can be expensive.

    Once you figure these things out let me know and we will be happy to help you out and answer any questions you may have.

    Thanks for the quick response SISMediaGroup! Let me elaborate a little more on my specific situation.

    I'm familiar with internet marketing but infatuated with offline work. I'm a very social person and can't stand being in front of a computer all day but I'm good at it! does that make sense? When I focus my energy on internet marketing I can usually turn a profit but now I want to spin that knowledge into my (future) pest control business.

    I would love to hear from other small business owners regarding this and maybe we could collaborate on something!

    Being that I live in a city with over 100 pest control companies, whats stopping me from recruiting an (affiliate army) of pest control techs that rock at what they do?

    My Suggestion Bugman is to turn your marketing
    into a raging funnel.

    Conceptualize marketing for your business completely
    differently that how you think of it now. Market to
    your customer for the specific purpose of setting up
    a "connection" between your business and your customer
    that leverages that contact in your businesses favor.

    Meaning: Market for the purpose of developing a
    vibrant customer database you are constantly pumping
    information into in order to increase brand recognition
    and loyalty. You will outpace and outclass your competition
    quickly.

    This is heads and tails above the old model of "spend
    money on advertising you hope your customers run
    into while shopping" advertising.

    Monetize your list by offering special reports, free
    inspections followed up with discount offers,.. that part
    is up to you.

    Why would you want to make him rich?

    Isn't that what being an entrepreneur is all about is by taking business models from here and applying it to make yourself rich?

    I already am rich! Money doesn't unlock doors and provide happiness and enjoyment for me like it does most people. I could die today buried in debt (it was a rough winter) and be satisfied with the life I have already lived.

    My boss on the other hand could use the extra cash as a *bonus* for what hes done, he built the company from the ground up after living on the streets!

    Evryone even old people use google now days , yellow pages is dead - no joke. So you can use various methods to increase your business presence and have your business name show on google's first page for local searches. If you don't know how you can accomplish that ,then check out Howe Shwartz new program where he teaches exactly how to help small local businesses get more leads and dominate googles first page
