Problem with WordPress plugin: No Longer in Directory

Need your help Warrior users!

Here's the list of WP plugins, that are out of the directory. What could be the reason for kicking out? One of my plugins now doesn't work because of this.

I want to go back to the directory! Or at least to find out the reason.

    Could be they are no longer supported and not working with the current version of WP....but that's a lot of plugins in that list.

      You may need to take your copy of the plugin you need to work, go to a freelance site and hire a programmer to update it.

    Good reason to keep dependency on plugins to a minimum. I try not to go above 10 on a project. I've seen sites that use 30 (or more).

    There could be many reasons. My own freeware Simple FLV WP plugin was kicked out from the WordPress.org repository because it includes famous JW Player which doesn't meet the GPL requirements (no source code included). In other words, my plugin is ok, but it comes along with JW Player which is not welcome at WordPress.org.
