Getting Subscribers to "Add me to Contacts"

I have a list of about 160 subscribers in aweber and when I look at the emails I have sent to them over 90% of them only open the first email(that contains their free gift). I think that my emails are going to their junk folder. I want to get them to add me to their address book. Would this be a good idea for an email?

    Make sure they whitelist your email so it goes into their inbox. You might want to also check the spam score before you mail out. Also, another thing I found is that plain text emails have a higher inbox rate than HTML based emails.

    I know that a few email providers have different ways that a person can add you to their list. What you can for sure do is to sign up with as many providers as possible and then see how this feature works for each of them.

    Then when you know it, just make a "map" for them on how to add you to their "safe" list. Kind of like click here to add me to your safe list if you are using such and such company.

    Then make each company available in a clickable link so that this process is made easy for them.

    I would also advice you that you should consistently add new subscribers on a daily basis cause even if they do add you to their safe list, they may not even bother to open your emails.
