How do you know when your site(s) are down?

Hi Warriors,

How do you know when your site(s) are down?

I have sites on many different servers via different Hosting companies and was wondering how other Warriors monitor their sites Up/Down times.

I know there are services out there, Which services do a good job of keeping you informed about Down times?

Normally each day when I check my emails, If I have a site down I will receive an error while attempting to download my emails.

How do you know when your site(s) are down?

Thanks,
Have a Great Day!
Michael

      Lol...Yea, I get that too!

I know there is a way to find out when it went down with out having to do all the Time math!

I want to know exactly when my site goes down so that I can be semi intelligent when I contact my Hosting company about the issue.

      Thanks,
      Have a Great Day!

Try this service. I've used them for years and they are pretty good and they've saved me a lot of grief.

When a sites down, I know about it right away and can get it right back up or at least notify who ever I need to.

Website Monitoring-InternetSeer Web site monitoring service

they have a free and a paid version I belive. Depending on what version of service you get an think they will email, text message you, fax or even call I think so know right away if there is a problem
