membership site set up

Hey Warriors,

I would like to set up a membership area on my website. At this point I probably would set up a free membership and possibly later I would change it to paid or upgrade membership.

I have done some research and came across a couple of possibilities: Wishlist and aMemberPro. I was hoping you will be able to share your experience with those and possibly other services that you might recommend.

    Wishlist and aMemberPro are awesome but i somehow prefer or am used to using the good old EasyMemberPro.

    I think a quick search here on this Forum might help as well. Search "membership site scripts" etc.

    I love Wishlist! The only thing is that it does not have built-in affiliate tracking so if you want to have affiliates at any point, you'll need to use something on top of Wishlist.

    Ive purchased s2member and would recommend it as there is a free plugin version too.

    If you're gonna do a membership site, and run it through wordpress, you need to check out Robert Plank's membership cube. Google it (so you know i'm not getting anything out this recommendation).

    You get wish list member, plus a ton of plugins and training.

    Another vote for Wishlist member... super flexible and easy integration w autoresponders and several payment processors, I use it with a clickbank product and it works perfect!
