What Happened To Organic Traffic?

Hello Everyone,

I am concerned in the area of organic traffic. I have noticed that it is hard to gain targeted traffic without paying for it.

Is it still possible to gain unique, targeted, traffic organically? Or is organic traffic dead?

I have tried traffic exchanges, and as soon as I don't put enough hours in a day to it, the traffic stops. Is there anything better than traffic exchanges to gain traffic?

I understand that traffic and lead generation take time to build. I will spend money for traffic if need be, but just want to know if I really need to.

Thanks for Listening,
NikkiM

Everyone is getting better and better on on-page SEO. The battle is with the backlinks. Who gets more & better quality links gets the rankings.

But strangely, some of my sites that I don't have one single backlink to them are ranking very well for some competitive keywords, for a couple of years. I had put a lot of effort to find LSI keywords for the main keywords to write articles, and I used those keywords well in the articles. Maybe this is the secret...

  • Quality content draws visitors. That's what I've found on my sites. When people start sharing it with each other, your traffic spikes like mad.

On page SEO apart from TITLE tag, H1 at a push and LSI is almost moot in my experience now. It's all about the linking. Talk about going full circle.

I still get tons of organic traffic these days.

My best advice is to start every campaign with some paid traffic and make sure it's worth the time investment in organics.

I find that some of my sites get TONS of organic traffic while others almost zero... The difference is pretty simple as far as I can tell; You need tons of quality content which you update regularly and a carefully chosen niche. The more competition the less organic traffic you can count on.

When you have a more competitive keyword, shift your focus to unique content, and try focusing on social bookmarking instead, its a lot easier to drive than organic.
