"Dilution" of Search Engine Ranking?

I am a personal trainer who gets almost all my business from search engines directing leads to my website at ShreveportPersonalTrainer.com. If you look at my site you'll see it's just one page that's optimized for the search-query "Shreveport Personal Trainer"...including the domain name.

I always rank #1 for this term in Shreveport.

But I'm thinking of adding a bunch of health and fitness articles to that site, which I'm afraid may "dilute" my sites overall ranking for "Shreveport Personal Trainer" searches?

If all my articles were going to be about being a Shreveport personal trainer, then I know I'd be ok...but articles about other topics...afraid it my screw up my ranking?

Any thoughts?

To be honest a one page site isn't groovy for Google. They might slap you one day and you'll have no love for them. Keep building up hip content that users would love viewin', that way you don't have to rely on just the Google for traffic.
