Do You Use ClickBank? Because If You Do...

Do you use multiple ClickBank affiliate login names for each niche/website or do you just use one ClickBank login name for all your products you sell?

It seems like it'd be more organized having seperate logins for each niche/website but I have so many logins/passwords to keep track of as it is!

I'd love to hear how others are "workin' it"...

EDIT: After seeing some replies I've noticed I should add that I'm speaking of being AN AFFILIATE not a publisher.

I use one name made up of ramdom appearing letters and numbers so it is not so obvious to the visitor that it is an affiliate link. I like the idea of throwing in a few fake ones though....

I use separate CB accounts for each product I sell. CB only lists one product per account in the marketplace. Also, your hoplink can only go to one URL.

You can use some simple programming or 3rd party scripts to redirect affiliate traffic to various products within 1 CB account, but I think that hinders affiliate recruiting.

I also have partners on some CB products, and it works nicely to keep those partnerships as separate CB accounts, so we can simply split each paycheck.

CB bundles all my paychecks together in 1 envelope.

There's decent software out there that easily solves this problem.

      .
      Often the opposite actually.

Let's say you have 3 seperate CB accounts, one for each of your products.

Your affiliate sells 1 of your products via hoplink 1 but your AR crosspromotes product 2 and 3 as well, however if the customer purchases those products, your CB affiliate doesn't get paid because they are on different accounts.

There are some very succesful CB vendors merging multiple products from the same niche into one account and using 3rd party s/w to allow for multiple landing pages.

This actually encourages affiliates and builds loyalty, as they end up getting paid on multiple products, not just one, so it's actually superior to single CB accounts in some circumstances.

Infact I know two affiliates who are actually making a loss on PPC right now upfront sending traffic to a certain fitness niche product but are doing so because the AR's are selling 2 further products within the CB cookie periods which is putting them in profit.

The second benefit and this is to the vendor is that your grav ends up being huge because you have multiple products all selling from one account, it allows you to shoot up the rankings in your catagory.

      Check out stuff like this:

      Original ClickBank Affiliate Management Tool

It's actually pretty damm useful to merge multiple products with the caveat that they really need to be in the same niche to make the most of the benfit.

I think using one name/login info is much easier since it's so easy with clickbank to add a tracking ID. To keep track of login info a lot of people use RoboForm

I personally don't use this, but if you feel you can't keep track of all your usernames/passwords it might be worth a look!

Roboform is essential if you have multiple CB logins. Actually, it's essential, period. Couldn't live without it now!

      Oops, doh, sorry.

As an affiliate, I have one account , the reporting is adequate to see what you've sold anyway. Not 100% sure there's a huge benefit to multiple accounts as an affiliate.
