Try MicrosoftAdcenter... which is now called Bing Ads. Lower cpc but still a decent audience . Other alternatives are youtube and writing viral posts for stumbleupon submissions.

If you sites got hit by Google updates and you cant get approved for Adwords it sounds like Google is really not a fan of your site. You might want to try to improve your sites with more or better content. To DeMango's point I've typically had better luck with Adcenter as well.

How about recruiting some serious affiliates to promote your product? they will bring traffic to your offer and you will be able to focus on your products... I mean, be proactive, try to find people who would like to promote products on this niche, offer some nice bonuses and they'll do the work of getting customer for you. If my product was ready to be released, that's what I'd do.

You can try other ways for internet marketing. Email marketing, social media, forum etc. are very helpful to make traffic to your online business. You can also try to look through WF to find the popular thread about sharing of making traffic for online business. Hope that can help you.

There are many other decent sources of traffic internet than Google. Facebook, Twitter, Press releases, Bing etc. Depending completely on Google is not a smart idea anymore. You have to diversify your traffic sources as much as possible.

So you have a niche, now you need to go and hang out with your customers. Find 3 - 5 forums where your target audience is meeting up and join in the conversation. Once you have a few quality posts with good information, you can start encouraging people to follow your links. Also, find some good blogs in your niche and start making relevant informative comments and/or guest posts. Don't spam, but do give people a reason to follow you. This is a guaranteed way to build very targeted traffic which is pre-sold on your products.

    I would do the following:

    1. blogging (daily is ideal) and make your content easily sharable.
    2. re-purpose content into youtube videos
    3. become active on twitter, facebook, G+, etc.
    4. employ authorship markups
    5. forum posts (w/ signature)
    6. blog commenting on blogs with comment luv installed (i'm about to test this one out)
    7. guest posts (haven't tested out yet)

That should be a good start. Just focus on the user experience, and it should all fall into place. Just be persistent and think quality over quantity!

  • I think you should deal with some JV so they can promote your product or if you need even faster traffic then I advice to follow PPC and Google Adwords is not the only PPC network there just do some research and I am pretty sure you will find something useful for your business.

Blog comments are ideal. I would just add a little twist to it. Set up google alerts so that you are the first one that comments on a blog. This way your comment can be seen higher at the blog and you get more attention/visitors.

additionally: forum posts, chat box promotion, banner, ppc, email marketing..

    just my 2 cents.

Press releases, guest-blogging as free traffic sources. Also forum posting if you have the time to put some work in it.

But my advice is try to craft some profitable campaigns with some paid traffic, those are the most reliable sources. Something like Bing ads, adKnowledge, perhaps try to get into Traffic Vance and learn PPV.

Anyhow, paid traffic, that's the secret. Learn it, use it.

    Regards,

If your site has been hit by Google penguin and still having problem with adword approval then you are doing something wrong. Perhaps, you should try to improve on your site optimization and traffic sources.

I would focus on Backlinks and Social Marketing. Also create youtube video's that link back to your sites. Post blogs that also link back to your site on Squidoo and Blog.com.
I have been using a software called One Load which is free and when you upload your useful video with your link in it the program will automatically post your video to over 10 other social video site that will get you a good stream of traffic. Google will love all these backlinks and you will find that your rankings will start to increase.

Google seems to favour sites that have authoritative, quality content, and lots of it. So, to rescue some of your slapped ranking, do what Google wants us to do and keep adding quality content to your site.

It doesn't have to be a pain to do this - write (or have written) 1 article per week that builds on existing topics you deal with on your site. Explore related topics in greater depth as a series of articles (say, 5 articles that you drip-feed over the next 5 weeks, or so).

More in-depth articles are much easier to write if you know your subject matter, otherwise do a little reseach and you'll find plenty of ideas and info to churn them out easily.

I know this isn't what you asked in your OP, but it may be more useful than getting too distracted with all the potential tracks that are being helpfully offered by members.

It's not an overnight-success method, but over the long-term you'll find that G will love you again.

Creating backlinks would be wonderful idea. It would generate fast and steady traffic. If you can then you need to post new, fresh and genuine article in each of every day. This is also another way to get more traffic. You can also use various types of social media sites.

Look into ppc, ppv and solo ads.

There are tons more ways to get targeted
traffic, but these have worked since years
    ago.

You pay for services for SEO, and it's just
ONE keyword... The key here is not initial
    investment, but profit.

If revenue exceeds investment, it's obvious
that you'd get a profit. The key is to follow
up with backends to raise your customer
    LTV, esp for high cpcs.

Daunting for someone new to it, but heck,
it's worked offline in traditional media... No
reason why it can't work on the net.
