Best software to record from your webcam?

I am using windows movie maker, that has a video recording option but it doesn't flow sometimes. I have also found a lot of bad reviews on google about webcam recording software.
Some recommendations (based on personal experience) from you guys would be great!

ps. if it makes any difference, I have a built in camera.

    Webcam monitor and light cam, you can try them.. I usually record only 6-7 mins of video and light cam works good for me.
