how-to-get-toned . blogspot . co . uk

Alright peapol, just started out with affiliate marketing and decided to get my own blog up and running, but was wondering of ways i can get traffic to it once I've added more content. There's 80,400,000 results on google for the keyword "how to get toned" and was planning on submitting an rss feed to feedag and feedage, doing an ezariticle and on doing an article on cragslist, does it matter if the articles are the same or should i do them different but with the same keywords? Also on my blog how many times should i use my keywords in my article? And last but not least, do i stand a chance at getting on the first page of google? All help apreciated! =) Thanks Leo.

Edit, also does my blog look apealing?

Why free platform? TLD doesn't cost much.

That's going to be a really hard keyword to rank for. In terms of keyword density, 1-4% is ideal. But you should definitely buy your own hosting and domain for the most optimization.

Well, I'm not a "pro" by any means but here are my first thoughts:

    1. If it's available, you need to register your own domain name and get off of .blogspot You can purchase really cheap hosting with places like HostGator, BlueHost, "Go*Daddy" etc.

    2. Be careful and so some research into the "exact domain name match" thing (others can chime in on this) since Google's latest algorithm hit.

    3. Design - the purple font color on the gray background is hard to read. If you want a dark background, make it darker with a white font color?? Or make it a really dark purple font with a very, very light gray shade or white background.

    4. If you're going to have banners on your site, you want them to be relevant to your blog's content. For example, game tester ads on a blog that has to do with exercise? It might be better if you had ads for something like Wii Fit. Just a suggestion.

    5. Personally, the paint splatters at the top resemble something that you would use for a Paintball blog.

    6. At the very top, there's a link to go to the next blog - and it doesn't open in a new window. You never want to have anything on your blog that's going to redirect people completely away from your blog, especially if it's a totally unrelated blog.

The exercise and toning industry is very competitive, and if there's 80,400,000 search results just on Google, did you research the title competition for that keyword phrase?

I'd just hate to see you putting a lot of time and effort into a blog that may be just a little too competitive.

Again, these are just my opinions based on a quick once-over on the blog.

Will defently get rid of those game banners, and love that idea about wii fit, just wanted to man it up a bit as i think i might of done the design a bit girly as its aimed at men and women. Was wondering if i could make it open in a new window so will have a fiddle with that later.
