How to get Started???

You definitely don't need to pay money for traffic to get started.

You do need lots of labor though and you'll need to hustle.

Some basic ideas to get you started:

#1 - Create a Facebook page for your business and get active on Facebook
#2 - Make lots of high quality YouTube videos and promote them everywhere that you can. Make sure that you study SEO and optimize their titles, descriptions, tags, etc.
#3 - Set up lots of blogs, post new high quality articles regularly, study SEO and get high quality (blog comment or other) backlinks pointing back to your blog.

The first thing I suggest is find what you WANT to sell.

There is a lot of cool products to be an affiliate for, I am an affiliate for a number of different products in tons of different niches.

For a starter though, I'd start with something that can pay out high commisions for you. If you have a $200 monthly budget, you'll do just fine.

There are a lot of paid traffic services that you can spend a $200 monthly marketing budget on that work wonders and they handle literally everything for you. The only thing you want is a high converting funnel in place.

This is actually something I do, I have a cost per click broker that gets me leads all the time.

They're not the cheapest, but it's totally hands-free.

It all comes down to what you promote though. If you're promoting an Amazon affiliate item, you're going to need to rely more on free marketing/SEO to make that really valuable. If on the other hand, you're getting a couple hundred or even a few thousand per a sale as I do, you got a lot more room to work with.

PS. By the way, you're going to feel OVERWHELMED a lot of the times. Don't get up. Being a successful internet marketer is the ultimate dream lifestyle in my opinion and it is totally worth the hardships.

Have you tried uploading videos to youtube, you will make money in no time.

Since you are just beginning with little capital i suggest you use free traffic sources like promoting via video marketing, social media marketing like facebook and article marketing.

we can give you advice but no one can guarantee that you will make money in 1 month or two months...or ever...
the best way in my opinion ..
go to odesk ...get an ebook created on a niche which is hot selling and for 50 100$
join clickbank as a seller 40$ and list that ebook there as a product
then make a simple site on WP with membership area for that ebook.add an Autoresponder
then join adwords and send traffic to your sales page ...

then you can get 5-10 articles on the same niche every month ...
use some free methods to get traffic..

You can try your luck with JVs for your product ..

Jan you need to be a bit more clear on what your GOALS are.

Are you looking to make a lot of money in a short space of time? For that there are specific set of strategies.

OR

Are you looking to build a sustainable business, which will allow you to quit your day job? For that there are another set of strategies.

There are various business models that you can work to make a few quid online. Newcomers often get confused by the vast number of business models and strategies.

In my opioion here is the thing that you can do to get started building a solid foundation of knowledge, skills and experience (especially when you are starting on a limited budget).

#1.) Invest in yourself first - Because there are soo many different ways and areas that you can get started in, it is easy to get overwhelmed and distracted. One of your first keys to being able to achieve success will be developing your ability to focus on one thing at a time. Get a mentor, training course or coaching program that will have a step-by-step training plan that you can follow. Then spend 20% of your time studying the course and the other 80% of your (working) time implementing what you've learned.

Because if you researched well enough, you would have
recognized, that it needs no more than a few bucks of
investment for a domain and hosting. Contant can be
produced by yourself for free and traffic generation is
one of the "overhyped" things ever. I mean, of course
you need traffic BUT it is not as hard to get as like
90% of all marketers claim. Just do some research,
take action, stick with a method and never give up.

I'd say create a wordpress blog about something you're passionate about. Do diligent keyword research. spend the $200 on adwords or a cheaper advertising network. Have a lead capture and build a list
