Clickbank offers Promotion

Does clickbank offers work good with PPV marketing or are they mainly better for e-mail and zip submits. I am thinking about advertising clickbank offers that give better conversions and clicks. Otherwise what paid traffic source do you think is good for clickbank offers?

    It would make more sense to me if you used CPV or whatever traffic source to drive them to an optin page then from that use your list to drive them to CB offers or whatever offer you chose in the future.

      Definitely, never use direct linking to a CB offer when paying for traffic. Build your list and then profit from that list for a long time.

      In case you do want to put an offer in front of them, just place it on the thank you page, and perhaps one on the confirmation page (if you use double opt-in).

      List is the biggest asset for an affiliate marketer. If you get 100 clicks on your opt in page and get 30% opt in rate, you are actually sending 30 clicks to your CB offer at the beginning. But the 30 subscribers just joined in your list can give you clicks over and over as long as they are in your list. That's the sweetest part of list building.

    Building a list is the best way to go. You can cloak your affiliate links this way thereby increasing your clickthrough rate. With no cloaking... you will be leaving money on the table instead of taking the attempt to simply cloak an affiliate link behind your website address.

    Building a list is the way to go in the niches you care about.

    However - it's a myth that you can't direct link to CB offers and convert. I have an account that I use exclusively for PPC traffic (banner ads and Ad Center) and am converting ClickBank offers in a variety of niches - Dieting, Personal Development, Jobs etc.

    If the offer converts well and I like the niche - I'll put together a better strategy (authority content rich site + list building). Sometimes I'll just let it run until it isn't profitable and do some more research and find another offer.

    Direct linking is not the smartest way to make money but it can be profitable and does work. It's also a nice way to test out offers.

    Some tips on converting cold traffic:

    - Video Sales Letters
    - Advertise during select times
    - Look for offers that have multiple landing pages (including trial offers)

    PPV doesn't work for me in the past, it just doesn't convert.For me, I think the best way to drive traffic is uploading videos to youtube.Videos is still the best way to get your message out, everyone loves watching videos rather then reading tons of text.

      Maybe I'm just clueless, but how much traffic can you get from a video on youtube?
