    Yes, I earn my living from it.

    It's not the right way for everyone, but it can be very profitable and successful for those willing to traverse its learning-curve carefully, take care whose advice they follow, think things through for themselves and not get sucked in to the popular systems of relying on searching engines for their business's primary traffic (not typically very useful for affiliate sales, as it tends to be both (a) low-converting traffic and (b) very precarious, with Google, rather than yourself, ultimately in control of the long-term traffic flow).
