Where can I advertise my ebook cover creation?

Hi All!

This might sound like a totally newbie thing to ask (prob cause I'm new to this concept , but I am wondering if anyone has suggestions on where I can advertise my ebook cover creation services?

I am a Kindle author and I decided I would like to do some extra ecover creation to fund my expanding self-publishing business.

I don't have a website for this, however, I have a gallery set up at Deviantart.com, so I have a place for potential clients to look at some of my work.

Other places on this forum have suggested Craigslist and other free classified ads. Would this be a good avenue to advertise ebook covers?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

Miranda

Here's a good place to list your services
    Warriors For Hire

Costs $20 to list and $20 to bump it back to the front page when it hits page 3

You can use fiverr too and other similar sites. Get in contact with people that have run Kindle WSO's and see if you buy a solo ad to their list.

If these jobs pay enough and your work is high end, you may want to have postcards printed up and then do a whois on every ebook seller's domain you can find. Copy and paste the address into label making software and send them off.

(t-minus 20 minutes before someone spins outsourcing into this and sells it as a bizop WSO)

Don't forget KindleBoards (and other writer focused boards). Pre-made and custom covers sell well there and it's a great way to reach out to other indie's and build a list of clients.

... and feel free to PM me a link to your DA profile. I'm always looking for skilled cover designers. I do a lot of my own but there's only so many hours in a day! Good luck! :-)

    Hi,

Here's an option you may want to consider.

Create an ebook on why graphics are important to a site's success or something along that line. You'd know better than me.

Then submit it to every master resale rights membership you can find. Give it master resale rights or give away rights. It'll get passed around for years.

Not too many people use this method, which is fine by me

I would try Fiverr. You should also get your own website though to offer higher prices for your services. Add a strong marketing plan behind it also.
