Need Help! Questions for Amazon Affiliates
1. Can you create a custom banner that links to Amazon? I can't seem to find a leaderboard that is relevant and has the right size for my site. 728x90 is too big while the 468x60 is small. I need something in between.
I asked customer support and the person who replied to my email said that I can ask the affiliate discussion board!? Lots of apologies in the message but my question wasn't answered.
2. I have 1 image link, 2 contextual links, 1 call to action link in the end each post and 1 banner that's present in all pages/posts. Is that too much? Is there like a sweet spot for better conversion? Also, does Google frown upon sites with lots of affiliate links?
3. I've read a WSO that recommended the use multiple tracking ids. How do you exactly segment the links? I can think of two right now but I need your suggestion
a. 1 tracking id for each type of link (banner, contextual, image etc)
b. 1 tracking id for each product regardless of the type of advertisement
