Start doing some video reviews and put them on YouTube. Then become known for doing video reviews of products and build your list that way. Then when a new product comes out you do a video review of it with your affiliate link under the video and send it to your new list.

    Greetings..

There are various ways to make money with ClickBank, I've tried blogger very long time ago but I had no success , I was getting only views, But I started to see my success when I got my Own domain and hosting and installed WordPress blog then Optimized.

You have to put yourself on visitors/Buyers shows and ask this question:
Why should I buy through this Blog?!

So, you have to give a value to people who comes to your blog and don't be over promotional always give a real review and also reward them by giving them some free bonus.

In other hands, I would make simple Optin form and providing high quality with high value to visitors in exchange of their email, so if they are not interested on this product maybe you can offer them later product.

This is a simple personal thought to share with you and I hope it helps.

    Good Luck

    Samah

Your blog looks like a classified ad site.... ad after ad with a link to click. How are you collecting subscribers and getting repeat visitors to your site? I think the site needs a re-design personally.

Your site needs to look more appealing to people. Add some imgages and maybe even a few videos. People have short attention spans. You need to grab their attention and hit them with a call to action. Also the youtube review idea mentioned above is a good way to go.

Setup a sqeezepage and offer something for free to get them on your list so that you can hit them with different offers. However, you don't just want to pitch to them on every mailing. You need to provide something of value to them from time to time to maintain their trust.

I'm not trying to be rude, but this is just bizarre. The conversion-rate from any given page on the web doesn't depend on whether the page's hosting is free or paid for. It might depend on about 15 other factors, but whether or not you've paid for the hosting is not one of them! To look at it another way: using Blogspot sites for promoting affiliate links of any kind is undoubtedly an extremely poor idea, for all sorts of other reasons, but "the fact that the site is hosted free" still isn't one of the reasons for that, either!

There are many different ways of promoting ClickBank products as an affiliate. I've made my living from it for 4 years and have, during that time, tried several of them.

In my opinion, however you look at it and whatever you do, all the successful methods, from which people genuinely make steady money, or earn a living, or build a business, really boil down to three inescapable essentials.
    • You have to choose wisely the products you promote (because if you get that wrong, it clearly won't make any difference what else you do). The guidelines here have proven helpful to many people: Selecting the product
    • You have to pre-sell effectively to well targeted traffic (which obviously means that you have to understand the difference between pre-selling and selling, and you have to have at least one source of well targeted traffic).
    • You have to build lists yourself. This is probably the commonest failing among people who struggle ineffectively to promote ClickBank products. The point to appreciate is that what typically sells them is the strength of your recommendation, your credibility and the trust people have in you. Those things are actually even more important to the sales process than the product and its sales page. It isn't really possible to achieve the outcome you want without building relationships. You have to have a list of your own and an effective continuity-process for its subscribers: What are the essential things to know about list building?
These three things are simply not optional. The reality is that to get anywhere much beyond the occasional semi-random sale, as a ClickBank affiliate, you have to be both willing and able to do all three of them at least adequately. People who imagine and advise otherwise, in my opinion, are not really people making their livings by selling ClickBank products.

At the moment, your site makes it clear that you're actually doing none of these three "basic essentials", I'm afraid. In my opinion, you'll need to do all three of them, to start making money from it.

In emails, sent to your highly-targeted subscribers with whom you already have a relationship based on the fact that they trust you.

Anything else, by comparison, is an afterthought, a distraction and a red herring.

You can promote clickback products on your site if you have one. Or make an interesting youtube video and try to get attention and drive the people to click on your clickbank product. You can also use social media sites.

I personally have had very little success on clickbank. Try to cloak your links as it is so easy to see your link and then they will just go to clickbank themselves become members and purchase the ebook through there own link to credited with the sale at the expense of all your hard work.

I found the clickbank is to competitive. Try Plimus that also free to sign up but the result I feel are incredible.

Cloaking your links won't prevent that, Mark.

Even if customers don't notice from the sales page that they're buying from ClickBank, they'll certainly notice from the order page, won't they?! And you can't cloak that one!

Cloaking your hoplinks is a good thing to do, for several other reasons, but this isn't one of them.

If you're promoting ClickBank products to people who are themselves already ClickBank affiliates, they're nearly all going to buy through their own hoplinks rather than through yours, whether you "cloak your links" or not. Which is a very good reason for not promoting any products in the IM/MMO "niches" there. Fortunately, however, there are about 298 other niches in which that problem doesn't arise at all: they're unlikely indeed to "join ClickBank to do it" because of the way the Customer Distribution Requirement works, in those circumstances, as it's designed to, to protect the affiliate.

ClickBank is just a retailer, Mark. It's "products" and arguably "niches" that might be "too competitive" - not retailers.

      nope incorrect.

Clickbank is where I make my living, and in lots of niches, as a vendor and affiliate.

First of all you need to build your list.

second you need to gain trust.

Third you need to learn how to soft sell...and that is how you will win this game. Ok, its a little more complex than that, but you get the main jist of it.

In the olden days, before the latest Google updates (Panda, Penguin) i would have given the advice to search for good keywords (buyer's keywords, "i have a problem"-keywords) and then try to rank your blog in Google. But this has become a lot more difficult now, especially if someone is not that experienced with SEO.

The BEST way (in my opinion) is if you build a followership/readership on, say, facebook, not some random "1000s of users" but people who have a true interest in your product(s), tips etc. Do not do "hard selling", it wont fly on Facebook....establish yourself as someone who can provide real help to the users. And then you can "soft sell" your products as recommendations...you could also do reviews, telling your people what is good and what is garbage.

You say you sell "clickbank ebooks" (what do you mean? There are 1000s of niches and products, many are crap, some are good). Find ONE particular niche and then specialize in that niche and build your followers around this. Eg. a hobby, internet marketing, gaming, etc..etc...

You have nothing on your site (besides Ads) to offer traffic. Fix it.

The site is just random Ads, not even targeting any specific niche.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[7159352].message }}
    • Write product reviews and create unique descriptions for the items you are promoting. Share your offers on social media sites. You can also add product reviews and other types of content on article directories and then link back to your blog.

You will do well to heed this advice before you do anything else OP, Google does not approve of this type of site, get some content on it PDQ before they notice, you know make it useful for visitors, add some reviews or something otherwise your site may disappear one day without notice.

    Hi

noob question; What is when the merchant of the cb program does rank high with his product long tail keyword? Should I use it too when the competition is low or does the merchant shoot my website down in google when I rank over it as a affiliate?

or should I use an other similiar keyword in this situation?

Just took a look at your site, it is seriously a big turn off for me.
It is not really tidy, and you're using a default blogspot template.
Try to redesign your blog and write content for what readers want
    to know.

You can also prepare a free video/report reviewing the product you
are promoting in your blog in exchange for their email.

      Dear people,

      Also I resume when I read all the tips on this topic here;

When I will try promote cb products (ebooks-most cb products are ebooks are they not?)

I will only make sales when I build a list??? Why it is so??
As amazon affiliate as example ,I must not build a list but why with cb products I must???

So when I listen to you, when I build affiliate sniper micro sites with product reviews and get traffic only from google organic seo, quest posts and forum marketing all link direct to my affiliate micro money ( or promote on squidoo too), site with the cb product review- I will not make sales?????

I make an more detailed example; When I get 200 visitors to my cb money site with good written product review about 500-800 words, with a conversion rate goal from 5%, I will not make 10 sales from this micro money site ???

I will make these 10 sales or more, only when I build a list?????

Please forgive me that I must ask this in detail, I be little confused after this debate here, but this are very important noob questions, many marketer says so, other marketer says this........

What is the true here to have success and make a few hundred $$$ with only 1 mini micro affiliate site, lets say by 10 salesx20$ commission= 200$$, this I can scale up,mean build more of these affiliate mini micro niche sites, so that I scale up my cb affiliate income.

Please discuss with me and explain me that.

      best wishes

You might make occasional semi-random sales by happening to catch exactly the right traffic at exactly the right time, but you'll have a business only when you build a list.

Originally Posted by marco005 View Post

        For a few reasons.

These are products which sell "on the strength of the recommendation" made about them, when people know, like and trust you, and when you have great credibility, and when you've built a relationship with them.

You can do that without a list occasionally. But not normally.

You need to build a relationship like that by email.

Without collecting their email address, you can't even keep them coming back to your site - you just lose most of them.

Very few people buy those products at their first visit to the sales page. They need repeated exposure to it. And it's not easy to produce that result without email.

And most of the serious money in affiliate marketing is in the repeat sales to the same customers. You don't get any of those without a list.

I started making "significant money" through Amazon only with lists.

Try it and see. Very, very few people ever manage it, without a list.

Why would you even want to, anyway?

There are a few hundred threads in this forum with titles like "What's The One Thing You'd Do Differently If You Were Starting Again Tomorrow?". Take a look through a small sample of them. Seriously - it's one of the most helpful things you can do. You'll find that one of the things they all have in common is that they're full of replies from long-established, successful Warriors all of whom give the same answer: the thing they'd do differently, with what they know now but didn't know when they started, is to "start to build a list on day one". There are reasons for that, and they're good and valid reasons, and I think probably they apply to you, too, not just to "all those other people". But if you can achieve the ClickBank sales you refer to without lists, I'll be the first to congratulate you and tell you I was wrong.

    WOW!
Thanks for that fast just in time answer! (in europe it is midnight-lol) the world is a village...

Ok when it is so and a good written presell page makes only a few sales here and there....
then I must build a list to have abetter success and better long term business, I know I hate to build it,but I must.........I have no many choices there.

Alexa I be very amazed about that you make only amazon sales trough your list not with a good written presell product review page like Erica (as example).

But with cb is a list the only best choices I have- so I must do it.
Send targed niche traffic from quest blog posts, forum marketing posts, youtube powerpoints about my topic to a squeeze page/opt. When I send 7-10 emails to the subscribers, should I put in the last email the link direct to the cb vendor sales page- or first to my written presell page????

I didn't say that, Marco. I said that I can only make "significant money" from Amazon sales by list-building.

I also have two Amazon sites of the type you describe. I don't build lists from them. I sell large quantities of very low value products from them. I earn very little from them. I do this because the additional number of items sold that way helps me to keep my commission-level at the highest level for the valuable, well-paid Amazon items I sell every month by list-building. I'm doing it because of Amazon's strange commission-structure, in other words. It's not a serious business proposition in its own right. It wouldn't be worth my while doing it at all, without the lists I've built in my other niches.

You can send some links to each. I wouldn't wait until the "last" email to send an affiliate-link.

The important things are (i) to have a realistic continuity-process (that's the main thing your income depends on) and (ii) to make sure that whatever you send people in exchange for their email address, when they opt in, is specifically designed and created to brand yourself and to give you the maximum possible open-rate for the email series. Hi,

@onlineblogger2; that is an another thing I don't understand, why you have success only with your own domain and site and not with a freehoster site/ blogger or whatsever?

Is that a point I must notice to build a list or a money site only use own domain than a freehoster/ or blogger site????

Many marketer has good success with squidoo, they write good articles and then promote products in them (without a list) most with amazon, with clickbank products I don't think so, most success squidoo marketers promote their own services or amazon on squidoo-not cb products.

It is the user not the same when they comes to your site and read your article or review, you have an own top level domain or an free/blogger site?? It is not the same for the user????

There are multiple places to do so but I would suggest trying Youtube, Metacafe and other video submission sites just put a link in the description to direct traffic to the offer.
I also would suggest twitter and Facebook. Also ad a email collection form to your blog site to capture emails offer something free or latest updates to get them to submit there emails. You can do this from Aweber, if you are getting a bunch a traffic to your site already your list should start to build pretty quickly.
Set up Aweber to send them all interesting emails that start to promote some of these e-books don't spam them by sending them and offer every day give them some useful info as well without asking for anything in return.
Some of the offers you are promoting should be able to supply you with some proven email swipe that may help with conversions.
If all else fails change up the e-books you are promoting.
    I do hope this helps

Great thanks again to Alexa, thank for your more detailed answer I have understood it and for your tip for the email list building.

I have understand now the difference, a few sales here and there is without a list,
more significant sales only with a list ( a stable long term business model).

So I think best method to drive traffic to my opt in page; related niche blog quest posts, related forum marketing,
yt slideshare video marketing, perhaps an own curation content blog with big opt in box...
a lot of work........with facebook fanpage, I'm not sure how this works there I need a tutorial again, but on fb I must discuss with other people (?) I not so willing do to that, marketing is the key not "chat" with people.

    Hi
Badly designed site full of direct affiliate offers, the site offers no value to the website visitor whatsoever. First thing to do is redesign the site using top quality unique articles one for each product. Find suitable long tale keywords to target. Firstly capture the email addresses of the interested visitor. Don't try and sell directly off the page, get them into a passive sales funnel. Build a list and use a message follow up sequence of 30+ messages to automate the funnel.

Forget about Free Blogs like Blogger you have no control, get hosting and use wordpress.

    Regards

Marco, on the subject of Squidoo, just read this one thread slowly and check out the links carefully. It makes no sense to build your list by trying to generate traffic from a page you yourself don't own and control. It's completely unnecessary. There are no advantages to doing that - they're all disadvantages ... http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7245764

    Hi,

Alexa, thanks for your tip, you always write crispy articles who give as real value, I like to read your writing style.
I have known that before you that say (lol), but I must squidoo keep on my eyes as an additional alternative traffic source, not use an only sources, using it as Plan B.
Many marketer are making good money with squidoo, this is a fact that is worth to discuss about it.

I think posting in related niche blogs, forums and niche ezines would be a great traffic source to send this traffic to my squeeze page to build a list.
Squidoo always as a piece of Plan B.

    Hi,

also the most people not trust cb products, so that they buy only when you have them in your list ?

Ok, when it is so, why there are many people in the web who makes good money, promoting procuts from amazon or promote on squidoo and they not have a list?

    Where is the logic there?

Or does people trusting more on products to buy from amazon as from cb?

Many amazon affililates not have a list and they make good mone, squidoo same thing.
So resume, my brain says to me; people are not trust cb productsm they buy them only when you have them in your list,so people know whre they buy from.

    Is that right?

Amazon and ClickBank are two different beasts because almost everyone has bought from Amazon before and has an active account.

The basic idea is to earn trust from the buyers. They opt-in to your list because you have information on a solution to a problem they're having.

You DEMONSTRATE that you know what you're talking about. Then they trust your recommendation because you've explained how it will work for them.

This 'warms the traffic' up. Otherwise all Internet traffic is essentially cold. They will usually see an offer - and bounce. Follow ups help you stay in touch with them and reduce their risk of purchasing.
