INTERNET MARKETING

Can I get some insight from anyone on traffic from traffic exchanges. I have built up credits on quite a few sites and was wondering how best to use them.

No expert, here, but since nobody else has replied at all (yet), I offer a couple of little thoughts ...

(i) Try to use this traffic to build a list, in the first instance, not to make a sale;

(ii) Make sure that "TE traffic" is what you really need, because what you're promoting is something specifically targeted at traffic-seekers (the reason I'm mentioning that is that conversations here about traffic exchanges almost invariably fill with comments about this traffic "not being targeted". Of course, it can actually be highly targeted, toward "traffic-seekers". So you need to make sure that what you're using it for is something specifically targeted at "people wanting traffic", otherwise it'll be your offer that isn't correctly targeted for the market. I know this should go without saying, really, but surprisingly it seems that it's a point often not quite appreciated).

The only thing this kind of traffic is good for is trying to build a list in the internet marketing niche. This is proved because just about every person using these types of traffic techniques use a squeeze page.

If you are trying to sell something directly, you will never have any success. It is also extremely time consuming when it comes to generating traffic. You may spend hours just to get 1 person to sign up to your list.

Be prepared to invest a lot of time learning how this traffic source works.

It works best for time rich people, and if you want to build relationships with the community.

There is no good way to be honest. Just keep testing and testing this is the only secret. Use only Splash page with an offer or click able title which lead to your lead capturpage then redirect to your offer. Use yellow background.
