I never do. Maybe I should...but I have never bought all three at once. Most I have done is included the .info if it was being offered at .99 cents or for free.

Nah! sounds like a waste of money to me unless you really know 100% that you will have a brand you need to protect..........although considering all the many ways you can add a "-" a "." a number or letter at the beginning or the end to mix up the domains and create more very similar............it's almost impossible to fully protect your brand without TM'ing it

For myself, I buy .com and .info almost always. If I can't also buy the .info (but normally you can, if you can buy the .com), I think again. Sometimes I buy .net and .org as well (but not normally intending to use them).

For resale (I buy and sell domains as a little side-business) I buy .com, and sometimes I'll register a little set of 2 or 3 others if I really think it's going to be worth it, to offer "the set". But mostly not. I don't buy the .info for resale because I'm apparently the only person who needs it.

Only if you have a website that has high traffic.

If it's going to be a main money site for me, yes, I do. Keeps others from registering them to siphon off my traffic using an identical domain name.
