Does anybody actually like the new link format?

Everytime I stick in a URL now it pulls the page title for the link text.

ie

Digital Products Retailer: Affiliate Program & Sell Online - ClickBank

I MUCH prefer just using the URL for the link text. Especially with the ridiculously long SEO'd titles some of these sites have.

Wouldn't everybody much rather it just say clickbank.com?

Is it just me? Can I change this option for my own posts?

    I use this on 2 of my forums. It's very beneficial to the SEO of warrior forum.

    When you write a reply, uncheck the "Automatically retrieve titles from external links " in the Additioanl Options section below your post text BEFORE you hit Submit Reply.

      I realize it's an SEO thing. But when SEO starts to be a detriment to the user experience, it's not worth it, IMHO.
