Need Help For Posting Video In WF Post

Hey Folks,

I need a little help if you please. I want to put a video into a post here on the WF. This video is hosted on YouTube. When I first put it into the post, I used the YouTube URL and the Video screen showed up in the WF post and ready to click on for folks to view it. Now the video screen has disappeared and a link to You Tube has replaced it. and of course it takes the viewer over to YouTube to look at the Video.

I want you guys to be able to see the Video without leaving the WF. How do I get the Video Screen to appear again? I don't want to use the text link, how do I actually get the video back into the post?

Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

    Did you embed the video?

No Steve I used the URL from UTube not the embed code. How do I embed the code into the post. When I tried that earlier all I got was the embed code itself and not the actual video screen.

Just how do you embed the video itself? I do know where to get the embed code but not how to put it into the post, so it shows up correctly.

On another forum I go on it says insert special item with a drop down box then add the code.

Surely the link can not be veiwable so it would be the embed code surley? I may be wrong but I think I am right. Is there a way where you can change the post into html format to add the code?

Ken, I've just tried it with the YouTube URL and it's working fine for me.

Are you using the Basic Editor to post? If so, try it with the Standard Editor - Extra Formatting Controls option.

Frank, thats what it was. I had to check the:
Automatically embed media (requires automatic parsing of links in text to be on).

In the Miscellaneous Options located directly under the editor.

    Thanks for the help folks.
