I've used 2checkout for years and I've never had a problem. They're great with service and support. Paypal, on the other hand, should be shut down (IMO). Nothing but a nightmare, multiple times with multiple accounts - personal and business accounts. A quick Google search will shed some light on Paypal for you. Hope this helps. Good luck

Yes the reason im moving from paypal to 2checkout is they froze my account. I opened a personal account in 2010 and i just opened by business account in 2012 because i started a business. They decided they would freeze my account and told me that i can no longer use them because multiple accounts or something of that nature.

      Thanks for your insight

I'm sorry to hear that. That's exactly what Paypal did to me multiple times. Of course, they claim to hold any balances for a set period of time and then release but, to date, I've never received any checks - that was years ago. Anyway, 2co has been great to work with. When I started with them, they charged a sign up or acct activation fee. I asked them to waive it and they did. Reasonable and flexible company to work with. Best of luck

Both are good. 2checkout doesn't allow "internet marketing" products.

I can't say enough bad things about PayPal. Thousands of dollars in reserve, almost destroyed my company. Really, if you can stay away from them, do it.

Paypal is best IMHO, I like it because you can get a paypal debit card and have instant access to your funds. Plus they are pretty good about disputes.

Those above who love PayPal obviously don't have any volume of sales to speak of. When you start doing real volume, then you find out why they have so much negative feedback.

Hi there! Hope you don't mind the interjection. If you have any questions about our service please feel free to reach out to me: aeshelman@2co.com

Regarding the "SEO service product like link building package": I cannot pre-approve any service because our underwriting team must review your application to give you a definite answer. However I encourage you to email me so I can connect you with someone who can specifically address this question!

Also - thanks for the compliments everyone! Great to hear

Personally I don't trust to PayPal at all, so 2checkout is the only solution for me.

PayPal limited my account because of the 'suspicious' activity, but I didn't cared what that activity was. So now I'm using 2CO which is far better than PayPal. No limitation and no more hassle.

One of the good thing is that your buyer can pay through PayPal in 2CO checkout so you don't lose the buyers who has only PayPal option to pay

On the fence... The only time paypal scared the shit out of me was when I made tons of sales in a matter of days, when they froze my cash in the account until I got on the phone with them... They wanted to know why and what I was doing... scary, they had to investigate for a day or two before they would permit me to withdraw the cash from my account to my bank.

This is EASY to avoid. Call PayPal first. Let them know why there is a sudden spike in account activity. This is how most successful publishers operate.

If you can get a REAL merchant account you should. If you can use PayPal you SHOULD except for recurring transactions in which case you should NOT use PayPal NOR 2co you should get your self a merchant account and gateway that works with your preferred ecommerce solution. Any company that CAN use PayPal and CAN obtain a merchant account which does not is not being wisely managed and leaving piles of cash on the table.

    1. PayPal is a better recognized and more trusted brand.
    2. PayPal provides better functionality as far as API goes.
    3. Using PayPal will reduce abandoned carts and increase conversions
    4. PayPal fees are almost half as much as 2co
    5. PayPal is easier to use as a merchant than 2co for BOTH the merchant and the consumer
    6. 2co is a reseller of your product and not a third party processor like PayPal. This means that your offers need to be reviewed before you can sell. 2co has many times blocked an offer later after it has been validated.
    7. Because 2co is a reseller THEY control their refund policy and not you. They have the last word on refunds.

    In regards to merchant accounts:

    1. Again nearly 1/2 the fees of 2co.
    2. YOU control your refund policies
    3. Depending on your checkout process could increase your conversion rates dramatically over a 2co checkout process.
    4. Better integration for checkout and more ecommerce solutions via gateways.
    5. One click upsells.

A simple search of the WF will reveal many merchants issues with 2co like this one:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...nt-closed.html

If you have no other option or as a back up 2co is a great option and a good company to work with. But if you can process via PayPal and Merchant account you absolutely should.

In some cases the checkout process alone can DOUBLE a company's conversion rate depending on what they use.

Most internet marketers don't think about these things and leave piles of money sitting on the table.

I've been told by my coach that Paypal is an absolute nightmare if you are starting to make money on line and it is not a software related products. So if 2checkout welcomes you maybe it's best to you 2checkout. I used paypal because right now they are still nice to me ... but you can be in heaps of troubles if you get lots of complaints or making money selling videos or eBooks.

I wouldn't say any is better because they all have their own ups and downs..

Serious companies use more than one payment gateway.

It's wise to always read and understand their rules.
