Best Way to Make Simple videos?

Hey guys, I was wondering what the best way to make simple voice over videos is?

I have a new product and part of the promotion is going to involve a series of voice over videos with text and graphics. What program is the easiest to us to make these videos?

      Is camtasia only a screen recorder? I already Have a screen recorder, I just need a program to make the text graphics.

        You can do that with Camtasia. If you want a slide-show type you can use something like Moviemaker.

        Powerpoint, or the free equivalent with Open Office will handle most text graphics, depending on how fancy you want them to be.

      Jing is great, after you record your video you can directly upload it to Screenshare and they'll give you a direct link to share. Recommended. Camtasia works just as good too.

    It really depends on a number of factors...This is like asking someone, "What's the best tool for building something?"

    One easy method that isn't brought up much is to simply create the "slides" as jpegs or pngs in a graphics program such as Photoshop or Gimp, then use a slideshow program like DVD slideshow GUI (free) or ProShow Producer (powerful) to turn the slides into slideshows.

    The key is to record the voice-over first, then "time" the slides to match.

    if you wish to make simple powerpoint type videos the best and cheapest software is GFX Video Writer. Search for it in google... you can have streaming text videos and also can record your own voice on every slide...
