Hey Guys,
I'm looking to Start a WSO on something I've been seeing success in, and has required $0 investment from me, and I figured the WarriorForum might be interested in it. I believe it is definitely quality advice, and a good method, and I personally made my first $ from it. It is an accumulating method, and your profits will just get larger and larger

Anyways enough about that, what I'm wondering is if you would post the WSO for free, and simply build a list on Aweber, or if you Would charge for it.

If You'd Leave it Free, would you require members to double-opt in to prevent fake e-mails from being used etc.?

If You'd Make it Paid, What Would You Charge for Such an e-Book?

Thanks!

You can create a paid WSO and charge between $7-$9 and after they buy, have them optin to get their purchase. This type of list is a buyers list and can be quite valuable. Lots of warriors are doing this.

Doing a free WSO can attract lots of freebie seekers and unless you train them to buy, they will expect lots of free stuff -- or they can.

I was thinking about doing something like that, however I didn't know if it was allowed, or if people would be mad that I made them purchase and THEN opt-in.

So I've Heard, I'll definitely Look Into The Idea of a Buyers List.

My thoughts exactly. Really appreciate the answer, I think I'm going to make it paid, I was told by someone to make a Free WSO, and then build a list, however a Buyers List Sounds more targeted anyhow

If you use JVZoo to sell your WSO, and you set it up as such, your buyers will automatically be added to your list. JVZoo is free to use.

I would personally sell it - You get actual buyers on your list, where as with a free WSO you get people who were potential buyers ( they were in the WSO section - a paid section of the forum)

I've always find with all the free WSO's I've released that I never get more that 150 opt-ins, while with all the paid WSO's I've launched I've never sold less than 175 copies, and I get actual buyers on my lists and make a nice chunk of change at the same time.

If you're ebook is quick to put together and isn't a monster with dozens of pages then a $1 WSO is ideal as you would be attracting those who are serious about taking action and having them on your list, but not putting anyone off who doesn't want to buy from a seller who hasn't yet built up a reputation.

You don't need to require people to opt-in after they buy. Customers hate that. Believe me. And if you do that, you need to be very clear before they buy that they will have to opt-in to get their purchase.

But if you use a system like Warrior Pro/Plus or JVZoo, etc. you can automatically capture their email as they buy, if you have Aweber, GetResponse, or one of the other more popular autoresponders.
