Any payment procressors other then Paypal for MMO offers?

I want to create an ebook on a little known subject to make some extra cash but I'm afraid to use my paypal account for payment processing because of the horror stories I have heard about people's accounts getting frozen or cancelled.

I just wasn't sure if their are similar processors who allow MMO type ebooks and pay instantly or at least weekly or bi-weekly.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks,

TedK

Of course there is! I had the same kind of issue so I used Plimus. It's very simple and easy to use. In fact, you can automate the product delivery. This mean when someone buys your product then the buyer will be referred to your download page or link. The only draw back I found with Plimus is that it has high fee rates unlike other payment processor.

Alternatively, you can apply for 2CO will is as good as 2CO

    Good luck with your product!

2CO will not support MMO products.

Additionally you can't vend straight from a forum if a WSO was the OP's intention.

If you vend an MMO product, you'll have 1-2 weeks tops before you are contacted to cease selling the product.

Same deal with Plimus, however they will ban you for vending MMO.

      These aren't payment processors.

You are still required to use your own PayPal account to accept payment.

There are SO many transactions that do not go through paypal and if your offer is good enough you won't have any problems.

"IM" is too loose a term. I'm quite sure (though correct me if I'm wrong), PayPal don't directly reference IM.

They have however, referenced "Business in a Box" models being prohibited in their TOS for quite some time now and naturally this encompasses MMO products.

So Daniel do you have any ideas of who will take MMO offers / ebooks.

The thing about my ebook is that it is not your typical MMO type offer, as it doesn't deal with the normal IM type offers but more of a certain way of doing something then you can make a guaranteed profit every week.

As mentioned, 2checkout.com isn't a bad option- they allow buyers to pay with their paypal accounts, without putting your own personal pp account at risk.

I have a 2CO account set up as a backup, just in case the worst happens

I would stay away from Plimus. I am pretty sure they don't support MMO and IM related products.

If you have had your PP account for some time, and have run a decent number of transactions through it in the past, I would not be so concerned.

While there are definitely plenty of stories out there about PP 'issues', most of those are running substantial volume through their account, and usually have not done so before. ..and in many cases trying to immediately withdraw most or all the funds just received. It usually takes more than one action to prompt a PP account lock.

At least that's what I've observed over a long time.

      Bruce,

I have had my account for many years and that is why I'm so concerned with this as even though it might be a problem... it could be a problem with paypal as with any of the big boys it is too hard to fight them even when you are right and I would rather stay away from them if possible for anything like this.

      Just my opinion...

      Thanks for the feedback though.

What about clickbank? They are the king of eBook sales.

Clickbank is very simple and they are the biggest affiliate/publisher network. I would suggest them because you its a simple one click process for someone to promote your product. If you make it to the front page for your section you will attract a lot of affiliates.
