Email Vs. Web Page Affiliate Link Click Ratio...

I am not sure about everyone else here, but I see a stark difference between click counts with respect to emailed content versus content published on the web.

For me, email affiliate link clicks beat out web page (even highly ranked web pages) content clicks by a solid ratio of...

20:1

Yep. You read that correctly. For every person that clicks on an affiliate link in an article I publish somewhere on the web, twenty people click on an affiliate link in an email that I send to them.

(I am sure that my ration probably pales severely in comparison to most Warriors, but keep in mind that I am still a newbie)

If that doesn't impress the superiority of list building as a marketing avenue to you (even over SEO), then nothing will.

And its holding solid too.

I am sure that there are a handful of reasons for this, but for me, a sales funnel, even a poorly written one beats the hell out of trying to rank for keywords.

YOUR business plan should be:

1) Write EPIC content which should funnel traffic to...
2) Your lead capture form which should be obvious and tempting which should lead into...
3) Your sales funnel which will lead to...
4) $$$

Pick a niche...get this process in place and then STICK WITH IT UNTIL YOU MASTER IT.

If your copy writing is horrible, then hire a professional copy writer to crank out a great sales funnel for you...now THAT is an investment.
