Google Change of Privacy Policy: What text do we use?

Hi folks,

Hi,

Who has changed their Privacy Policy language and WHAT are you using?
I checked the Google site, and they are not giving anything definite to use.

Any suggestions anyone?

    Why on earth would Google provide a privacy policy for you to use? Am I missing something Hal? Are you referring to interest based advertising - I am sure they provide guidelines for that change.

    dave ...do you know how one goes about getting a google map displayed on an serp
    when I would be the FIRST one to display my info by the map ?

    ie..before no google map
    after...google map with just one person

      I dont know if there is a privacy policy plugin but you can go to the address below for a privacy policy generator :-

      They are suggesting WHAT it should include. So, am I suppose to write my own Privacy Policy...or just copy what they provide?

        Enter the details for your website and your contact email.
        Yes or no if you use cookies.
        The details of the advertisers whose adverts you have on your website.
        Press the button which says "Create My Privacy Policy"
        Voila your own personalised privacy policy will appear on the next page.

    Why yes there is Hal.
    Privacy Policy Plugin For WordPress
    I've used it before and it worked well, also it's been updated for adsense's new requirements.
