How do you test conversions?

Not sure how you do your conversion testing but my formula is simple.

1. Build offer page/site
2. Spend $100 on Facebook ads and $100 on adwords
3. Study data and make a few changes
Repeat.

I usually do this until I can profit a minimum of 25% then I leave the paid campaigns in place with increased budgets and work on organic traffic.

    I also do most of my testing with adwords. I'll split test everything - Ads, keywords, landingpages, etc. But I try to get a profit of at least 50%, to cover any unforeseen refunds or chargebacks. Then I'll do bum marketing with my most profitable keywords.

    ps - How do facebook ads workout for you, as compared to adwords?

      I prefer facebook ads to google. The targeting is unmatched anywhere.

    what software do you use to do conversion testing?

    i do google analytics for free and i'm just used to it...
    i do use dlguard...so the landing page always changes...so
    got to do some extra work for that...
