Hi,

I hope this is the right place to post this, and that someone can give me the right answer.

Here's my computer set up. My main desktop computer (DSL wired in my office and my second desktop computer (in the room next door, wireless).

I want the second desktop computer to be able to access my main desktop computer. For example, my main computer has Quickbooks installed on the C: drive. I want my wife to work on the second computer processing sales and expense data.

Does this all make sense?

Is there a free, easy solution.

Thank you!
Alan

Without going into any detail, the network could be done via XP if you are using it - Network Wizard in Control Panel.

However - to do what you want you will need Quickbooks multi-user - i.e. both computers accessing the data at the same time.
