Any inexpensive traffic ideas?

OK. Heres the deal

I jusy got into a CPC (cost per click) affiliate program that pays pretty good. I'm a good direct seller. which means that i can talk to people on the phone, in emails, in person and chats and usually by the end of the day or week, there on the sight looking at what we talked about.

I can tell people are buying because my CPC keeps going up. The problem is I don't know anything about bringing bulk traffic to my sight...I'm learning...but still not many clicks.

Because I'm an expert on the product and website and I can sell directly. I just need traffic.

I tried Adwords, but to expensive at the moment...youtubes better but because its strictly US traffic. the keywords are still pretty pricey.

Anyway, I need generic clicks...I'm not worried about buyers because I talk to 15-25 people a day and buy the end of the week i get a good number to sign up. I just need some good general traffic to my website. I'll worry about the salescopy...just need traffic.

    If you are so good on selling, why don't you just buy traffic from Google then?

    Find sites in your niche - blogs, forums, etc and join the club. Show them your expertise before you show them your sales page. Get them to gain your trust, because you know about the product/niche whatever. They gain trust in you and will follow where you lead them. i.e., your product.

      Try using a combination of Yahoo Answers, Forum Posting, and Classified Posting. Those three things will produce back links and constant traffic. If you need any help learning a good Yahoo Answers traffic strategy, let me know! It is pretty easy to learn and if you have time, it is a good traffic builder due to the website having excellent page rank on google.

    Seriously though, if you're looking for targeted traffic that doesn't require a large investment or a lot of time spent on content creation, it doesn't exist. Unless you get lucky and somehow go viral overnight. Most things that go viral are never predicted or planned out though, it just kind of happens.

    Crissie....Thanks for the advice...Whew...sounds like alot of work. But good sound advice...I thank you for it.

    TheDuke2011... Thanks...Craigslist and Yahoo Answers sounds like a good idea..I may PM you shortly and see what kinds of strategies you have for CL. It used to be so much easier in the day when you could hit the big cities and get 800 clicks in two hours.
    I'm from Detroit myself....Yankee bats are sleeping at the moment but could wake up at any time.
