
How can you generate more sale with less traffic?
Whatever the traffic way you are choosing, this is what you should do first.
Well, we all know that for generating an income online, we must have a lot of traffic coming to a website, which sell either a product or an affiliate product (I would stay on this business model).
But, what I believe that different products or niches imply different way to generate traffic.
So, what I will try to explain here is simply how I do to determinate what type of traffic I will drive to my site, and also what way will work for the my product promotion.
• Know What Type Of Traffic Do You Need
In any type of online business, you must know if you need a traffic that’s returning to your sites to get the same client that will buy different product again and again, or if you need to generate a very big percentage of unique visitors (probably the best for list building). It’s really important to know that, because if you send the wrong traffic to your site you won’t have the same result, and you will probably leave money on the table.
• Study Your Market.
What I mean by that is that you really need to understand where the people interested by what you’re selling are hanging out. So, that you don’t spend hours working in a place where you will have a poor result.
• Understand Your Sell Funnel
There three type of traffic. Raw traffic, lead traffic and buying traffic (the traffic you’re targeting).
What you should do then is to find out how to transform raw traffic into lead traffic into buying traffic. In my experience I won’t send raw traffic directly to an offer, because the result will be mediocre. I prefer narrow down the traffic at first to get only best quality of people who start to know me and are potential buyers.
• Study Your Analytic
Analytic is the only way to know if the traffic that you’re getting is good or not. If you don’t get what you want using a certain way (Eg: SEO) there is now point continuing wasting your time and money in it.
• Be Consistent
This is the most important thing! Without consistency you won’t get any result!
What I like about that strategy is the fact that it can be adaptable to any business. You should use that wisely, and figure out a way that will benefit your business.
