If you use the Embeddable Player on your website, you may not modify, build upon, or block any portion or functionality of the Embeddable Player, including but not limited to links back to the YouTube website.
If you don't want YouTube's branding, why not host and serve your own videos?

I like the tutorial but I have some few questions to ask. Why removed the logo and what's the reason? I think leaving their logo is just a good way of appreciation of using their service for free

So they lied in their blog?

And the autoplay tip is in their help section...

    So no, these all don't.

why not host and serve your own videos?
Use less resources and increase load time.

Nope, of course they didn't - I hit Submit before I finished typing...

YT's stance may have changed on the player controls since I read a post about somebody getting their fingers slapped over it (and naturally, I can't find the post now).

What I probably should do is shut up before I dig a hole to China...but instead of deleting my previous posts, I shall leave them for posterity

In YT's latest developer API sheet at https://developers.google.com/youtube/player_parameters they do in fact let you not show the player controls on html5 and AS3 players.

      Steve,

      Don't worry about it, mate.

My first reaction was the same as yours but now I've added Youtube to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google on my list of "Don't comment on TOS and/or technical issues anymore cos they probably changed everything last night while I was sleeping".

Have you seen this new feature on YouTube....

I think it's just for 'partners' ... it let's you add your logo to all your YT videos

Once you are logged into your YT account - go to:
Settings - Channel Settings - InVideo Programming
Here you can add your logo / branding across all of your videos.

(There is also an option here to feature a video on all your other videos too - which is a great way to cross promote)
