If you could get more traffic how would that help you? Where would you drive that traffic to?

Very simple, if I had twice as much traffic, I would make twice as much money. Get your sales process in place first, get your site converting and then just add traffic.

      I totally agree with you.
But in my experience the quality of the traffic would matter as well.

generating traffic is not a problem, it just require consistency. But getting the right traffic require a better understanding of your market and what type of traffic you are targeted. Do it right and will really help you to generate more sell with less traffic.

        That's true.

So for those of us who answered, what's stopping you from getting more traffic?

Before I even think of traffic, I would work on my sale's funnel. Test, modify, improve on it to get the best possible conversion. Once I got that right, I welcome anyone to drive traffic to that website.

How more traffic can help me?

    1) Make more money of course
    2) Easier on me. Because if I know the content is good, people will naturally spread the word hence I don't have to do much marketing. The brand itself is marketing.
    3) Gives me the time for social life and to work on different projects

Where would you drive the traffic to?
    1) Depends.. If my intention is merely to make money, I would drive them to the best selling product and highest conversion sales funnel.
    2) If I want to build a brand for myself.. I would drive these traffic to one of my blog post (full of valuable information) which is written particularly for these people.

  • I would drive it to a squeeze page, so that I could not only continue to increase the value of each subscriber, but also KEEP my traffic locked in a box so I can have that traffic on tap anytime I need it.

I'd use that traffic for the following:

    1. Lead generation
    2. Build my list
    3. Boost my revenue

I think that pretty much does it.

If I had more traffic I'd just set and forget.

      With the occasional tweak.

I think websites bad reputation can stopping from getting more traffic, for more traffic site should be more informative and should have good reputation on search engine with best content.

I agree with what most people are saying on here. It really depends on the quality of traffic. That being said, more traffic will be driven to my mailing list. I can't stress enought he importance of having a solid mailing list to contact even after the visitor has left your website.

    Cheers!

More traffic = more money. You just have to be smart about monetizing from the traffic.

I would drive it to my email landing page. I make sure the signups are very filtered though. Nothing sucks more than having a fat list but only 1@ actually care for stuff you'll send them...

driving tonnes more traffic anywhere else apart from a targeted squeeze page is a waste of time in my opinion
