Should I start working on Money making niche

Hi,

I have got a domain howto-makemoneyfast.com the keyword "how to make money fast" has 50k+ exact search and money making is an ever green niche

Hence I have thought of starting this blog and then later sell clickbank or other affiliate products to earn

I know money making is a quite saturated niche but is there a way out and how should I start so succeed in this area as money making is my interest

Please guide me how should I start and how should I make is successful or should I drop the plan as this niche is too competitive.

Start by learning how to make money yourself. Then you can think about writing about it

^^^ This. Another thing, why in the world would someone choose the MMO market when every SE and all of the rest of the online world has declared war on it?

SEO as it once existed is dead. Every day people are coming here saying they've had videos taken off Youtube or their accounts terminated completely. People get their IPs banned left and right for marginal "marketing" tactics that no longer work. It's an absolutely hostile environment for MMO these days and it's going to continue to get worse. There are much better things to do in my opinion.

First of all having the EMD is not an advantage anymore since the panda EMD update. So you could really have any domain name and it wouldn't matter. This is a very competitive niche indeed, you will need a high budget to do a lot of seo on your site.

Don't drop it because it's competitive. Drop it because you haven't a fricking clue what you're doing. The last thing anyone needs is another wannabe teaching them how to make money fast when they haven't made a cent themselves. Pick a topic you have knowledge in and follow that path. After you make a success out of that one, then you can teach people how to make money doing the same.

Besides, other markets are far easier to monetize, so why in Gods name would you pick a market as competitive as this one. Oh yeah, I forgot, ya don't know what you're doing. Do yourself a favor, pick another market. Teach people how to make candles, how to fly a bloody kite, but for the love of God, don't teach them how to make money fast.

I hate to beat a dead horse but the other posters are right. If you haven't made money yet then you probably shouldn't be writing about it. If this is your first time doing IM then I would find a hobby that you like and write about/monetize that.

My thoughts are that the problem lies with the word "fast". You could start a business in another niche and keep track of everything you do. Then, possibly several months down the road you could produce a product where you show people HOW you made the money.

Again, you are making money yourself first. On the other hand - there is no FAST way of building a real business online. The Internet is a marketing vehicle for real business and not a get-rich-quick scheme.

Instead, think about what you would want to do to build a business that lasts, over time and will bring you income for the long-term. After that you can monetize HOW you did - but don't fall into the trap that it's going to be FAST. You can make money fast, but you will build a business with persistence and consistency.

Your keyword is very competitive. With 900 million broad search results and 8 million exact search results you must know what you're doing to get top 10 ranking (seo experience + a good link network + some cash or lot of work ).

It's up to you. You don't need to be a "guru" to have your own website in the MMO niche. You can have one for several reasons, like using it as a journal, doing reviews on products, there are a ton of ways to monetize it without having to be an expert in internet marketing.

Just go with what feels right and I'm sure you will see the results you are looking for.

        Good luck.

    Hello guy123,

Getting started in the the "how to make money fast" niche is a great choice and a great opportunity for anyone who is "not afraid of competition" and is willing to work long and hard at becoming successful. The key is to find the right approach or strategy that will work for you. Have realistic goals and expectations (do not expect to get rich quickly) and to work at it passionately. Even though there are a lot of people in this niche, you should focus on doing what you need to do to get into the top 10% of money earners over time.

Here are 3 things that I would recommend that you do to help you get started.

1.) Find a coach or mentor to work with. This needs to be someone who is already successful and who can show you how to become successful over time.

2.) Start another blog (even if it's on a blogger.com site) in a less competitive niche. This will allow you to learn, practice and develop the knowledge and skills that you will need to really get good at making money online.

3.) Keep increasing your network of mentors, knowledge, skills and experience continuously.

I think the advice above is the way it should be done...
if you would like to enter the make money online niche

Don't listen to the people who are telling you it can't be done.

      Why because...

"Whether you think you can or not...you'll always be 100% right!"

and believe it or not it has been done before... And to me that only means it can be done again.

Does any one else see the hypocrisy in telling some not to enter a certain niche because it
it may be to much competition

Go ahead pick a niche that has a lot of competition but don't pick ( make money online)

But it's like they say the cream will always rise to the top.

here is a quote from the admin of this forum
Some people say do what you love, some people say that's a load of crap. Me? I do what I damn well feel like :-)

The only advice I can give you right now ( and these are only my opinions)

      1) Change your user name...( it seems a little spammy to me)
      2) Pick a new domain name ... ( it seems a little spammy to me)

      3) Then listen to this video I found it searching through this forum
I don't have the thread right now but I do have the direct link to the video

If you really want to capitalize this, you're going to need to do what I've done with my IM blog: Don't present yourself as an expert. Be up front in that you're learning to do what your traffic is doing, and present to them the research you've done in a well-laid out manner. It's just good karma to include links to the source.

*IF* you've purchased a product with a technique you're going to implement, you may considering adding an affiliate link for said product if one exists. You need to make it very clear that this is an affiliate link.

Follow up with that by giving a clear, specific run down of what has worked for you and what hasn't, and whether or not you really have made any money.

How are you going to teach about something that you haven't done yourself?
It, most likely, won't work, and then you will complain and give up.

Instead stick with something you already know about or have the passion to learn about.

The money making niche is indeed a highly saturated and competitive market. Nevertheless, do not give it up as it is still a very good market. You can start by building your blog, work on driving traffic to it, build your list, and do some SEO work around your keyword. You will be surprised at how fast your blog's SERPs will get better in no time at all.

    My rules.

    1) Make money.
    2) Write about how you make money.

If you can make the money, you can teach others how you made that money, because you have already internalize the method and strategies.

    Cheers!

My view is that you do not need to be a "guru" to show people how to make money online. After all you will be making money online if people are buying your product.

The MMO niche is great because the audience is huge and they are willing to spend money on products and services. However for people to buy your product you must focus
on creating massive value and helping as many people as you can. Now if you do not have the ability to do that then perhaps you should give it a miss. Don't chase the money you want to make - focus on providing massive value to your prosepective customers

My opinion is that you are making the classic "newbie" mistake, that is, entering the MMO arena.

Focus on BUILDING A BUSINESS, not trying to teach others how to make money or sell them related products.

RUN AWAY from this niche, and START A BUSINESS in any of the thousands of different areas you could go into.

You need to earn more experience from making money online before going into that kind of niche. Like what they've said it's a very competitive market and could cost a huge amount of bucks just to be on top of the serps.

Plus your domain name is not advisable anymore due to the latest EMD update. I think you should try to choose a brandable name rather than choosing an EMD.

Try to focus on the things that you could offer or the things that people are looking in making money online rather than thinking of ways for you to earn money fast.

Rather than this, start clickbank product store, IM products store or wso review blog and drive a traffic through JV promotion or from giveaway events.

I would say, go ahead and run away from that right now.

Find something you have interests in and work from there. Choose a hobby and find out what they want, then go ahead and give it to them.

Whether it be a report, or video. The key is to solve their problem.

    vague, but effective.

The domain isn't great to be honest. It's hypey sounding and doesn't exactly stand out. The dash makes it look spammy looking too. EMDs are not that important any more so if you do want to build a MMO blog you should choose something that's more brandable.

If you have no experience in making money online then it will be pretty difficult to sell stuff. It's difficult enough to build trust in the niche unless you can prove you're doing it yourself. You could always start a personal blog and document your personal success and failures as you try to make money online. Even if you make $100 a month you'll have people chomping at the bit to learn how you did it.

EMD might not work as it used to be in the past due to recent update from google.

Experience in the niche will be a big plus to provide good, information and related content, hence attracting more and more visitors.
