  • Forget the sale page. Does the product work? Have you tried it?

If you cant answer these questions your list will lose trust in you and you can forget selling them anything else in the future.

Once you have established trust with your list, the "sales page" wont mater.

I can say that the video was so boring and "same old sales pitch" that I couldn't finish it.

My complete guess is that it'll be as dreadful as its sales page/video.

I so often urge people on no account to buy products from sites with the word "cash" in their url that perhaps I couldn't easily promote it anyway. :p

But in this instance, the sales page certainly doesn't even make me want to see the product to assess whether it's any good, because it's not one to which I'd be willing to send my traffic.

      Let's see your sales page.

The sales page is ok. You are definitely on the right track, what's the product about?

I don't have a sales page. I'm a full-time affiliate and former copywriter. Judging other people's sales pages is part of my everyday work. That was why I offered an opinion when we were asked. What's your excuse? :p

Ok is good OP is on the right track, it could be potentially better, of course, but dreadful? Come on now.. That's a bit harsh don't you think ? =) I've seen dreadful sales pages.. and you should already know, they can be LOT worse.

    I wouldn't.

But it depends how you're going to promote it. A Copywriter once told me that you need a full page of really good salescopy for every $10 to $20 dollars you're trying to sell somebody.

I would have read it, clicked through...saw he wanted $34 and click away. If he was selling for $7 I might give the salescopy another look.

I don't like the pie-in-the-sky promises or 'people struggling to survive while the gurus are raking in piles of cash' pitches. There are many different business models to follow to make money online and if the sales page can't tell me what exactly they are going to TEACH me (or allow me to DISCOVER) I'm pretty sure I'm going to get burned in the process.

There's not a chance in a million years I would promote an offer like this to my list. I specifically only promote non get rich quick products that tell you there's no work involved. This is a junk product and I haven't even tried it. That's another thing, I wouldn't promote anything I have doubts about, even the slightest of doubts. I wouldn't want to be associated with this kind of crap.

Anyone who can't tell that this is junk, seriously needs a mindset adjustment. It's just common bloody sense ffs. No well established ethical marketer promotes their business with this kind of nonsense.

I wouldn't touch it. If you're in the make money niche there's tons of better products on clickbank with better lead capture and sales pitch

So the narrator says or at least makes you believe you could make over 2 million dollars in one single year, with no special skills (apparently, all I need to know is how to move a mouse and use a keyboard, and, with these skills you are, and I quote: "more than qualified", Jesus Christ... :rolleyes, all while "hardly lifting a finger".

Also, among other things he dismisses as having nothing to do with this program (which he later tags as "garbage") are "push of a button software", which kind of relates to "hardly lifting a finger", doesn't it? But hey, that's just me.

The last part I borne to watch was "right now, there are millions of people with their credit cards looking to give someone money". OK, I get that many people think that spending money will make them happier, if they just get that nice TV, or that nice pair of shoes, but people looking to give someone money, with nothing in return? I mean, guys, this sales page is not dreadful, is lower than that! (Is there even a word for that?)

And on top of this, the recording is of very, very low quality. So you're making two (2) ($2,000,000) million dollars a year and can't afford a decent mic? which costs, what, $200? (Not to mention the not-so-convincing voice of the narrator, to say the least.)

I have very, very little expertise when it comes to copywriting, but this is something that you don't need copywriting skills to know it will flop (big time).

And to answer the question in the OP, I would never, ever want to ruin my relationship with my subscribers by sending them to such a horrible sales page.

Later edit: I've just noticed, the price is $34.

That reminds me of people who (on a lower-key scale) advertise "how to make $200 per day", and when you click their link, it takes you to a squeeze page at the bottom of which is a little link announcing "Get your own free website with Weebly today". Only marketers in the "MMO niche" believe in this. Customers certainly don't.

They don't exactly make it easy to take them seriously, do they?

(I agree with you about the shoes, as well).

No, not at all! How on earth could a human being, a person with a functional brain, anchored in reality, could ever believe she could get her hands on something that is making some else $2,000,000 a year, with no special skills, for only $34. I'm starting to realize why there are so many "I've worked for 4 years, and I have failed" type of threads.

Well, I think we share a common weakness for shoes. It's really frustrating when nobody seems to understand the difference between a $50 pair of shoes and a $300 one, isn't it? (But they look exactly the same! (they say, anyway...))

Good rule of thumb you should by the product first before you even think about promoting it. If you don't know what you are promoting, or how it works , or what is it how can effectively push it. Buy the product first then make that decision.

I think the thing I'd be MORE concerned about than the sales page is the quality of the content inside. I've seen far too many products that are gorgeous on the outside, but on the inside, are basically worthless.

I suggest to folks who want to get into affiliate marketing that they always take a peek inside the products they're promoting PRIOR to promoting them. If we all were more careful about that, people would be FORCED to make better products, right?
