How to increase clickbank conversion rate?

Howdy. I'm selling an ebook I created through Clickbank on one of my authority sites. I get a good number of click on my links to purchase the product (the link that takes you to Clickbank) but the number of customers who actually proceed to purchase it is very small (less than one per day average). Any idea why? How can I improve my conversion rate? Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

Make sure there are no links away from the sales page.

Focus on the buyers problem and hint at the solutions.

Make sure you have good testimonials.

Find out where the traffic is coming from and see if the query they made to get to your site actually matches your product.

    Make it easy to read.

    Check for spelling mistakes.

So you mean once they read your sales copy they back out? If so, I'd start with the headline and move on to how you present the offer, guarantee, bonuses etc. Just change one thing at a time and do some A/B testing to monitor improvements.

If you mean they back out after they hit the "buy" button.... hmm... that would be harder to answer!

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,

From what I gather you are getting a generous amount of traffic to your authority site and they are clicking through to read more or to purchase the book but backing out on the sales page.
    Things that could help.

Is your site and the sales page congruent, meaning do they both share the same message?

    Is the price outrageous.

Can you split test using another affiliate product.

Maybe work harder on pre selling the product on your authority site.

Or instead of driving them directly to the affiliate sales page maybe try and sign them up to a 7 day mini course getting their email address and try drive them back to the sales page. If you are in control of the sales page PM me and I will be able to share with you a few techniques i use to increase conversions. . .

Are you testing multiple pages? I would test a regular sales page, a squeeze page, and a video sales page if you have the ability to create one. Different markets have to be presold differently!!!!

Right now for one of my products I usually presell with text, now I'm testing grabbing emails. We'll see how it goes.
