Why You Don't GET The Conversions You Want!

If you want to people to take action from your ads you need to combine these two very important things every single time. I'm talking about self-interest and curiosity. Curiosity is the strongest emotion that you can get out of a person.

Once you awaken someones curiosity something goes on in their brain mentally. You might find them asking you more about what your product or service is if you are actually in a conversation with them. This is a very good sign. I call it the buyer sign. I took that from my old job.

But when you have someone in this state they feel like they just have to know more like a cliffhanger where they say stay tuned or to be continued. Television does this ALL THE TIME!

Self interest is exactly what it sounds like. If you need a new phone because your old one broke I cannot sell you a tv right now because you are in need of a phone to communicate with and my offer is irrelevant at the moment. But if I have a brand new phone with the kind of benefits that spark your curiosity I got you.

Thoughts?

Totally valid, I know that curiosity is a big one, I remember I ready this email I never would have read, I was part of a list I didn't care about, but the subject was somthing like "This isn't for you, you're a quitter" It was that, "what's this about" and "I'm not a quitter" that got me to clickthrough! Valid points!

How do you "quantify" self-interest and curiosity? How does this relate to getting the conversions that i want?
