Paypal hyperlink issue

I hyperlinked my checkout page onto some text on my download page and it shows the following error. Any way to overcome this?

"If you were making a purchase or sending money, we recommend that you check both your PayPal account and your email for a transaction confirmation after 30 minutes.

If you came to this page from another website, please return to that site (don't use your browser's Back button) and restart your activity.

If you came from PayPal's website, click the PayPal logo in the upper-left-hand corner to return to our home page and restart your activity. You might have to log in again."

Are you using the Paypal "email code" in your hyperlink text? Or are you using the check out page link URL?

Once I set up a button, Paypal gives you 2 choices. You can copy and paste the "website" html code, or the "email" html code.

I copy the email code and paste it into any text or graphic, and have NOT had any problems. Hope this helps!

In addition to Glen's advice, try to reset your browser's cache and cookies. I also experience that sometimes, especially when running a sales report via PayPal. I just log out, reset cache and cookies, and everything goes back to normal.
