Receiving Wire payments in uk

Hey guys i work with a USA Based affiliate network and wanted to know how long does it take to receive wire payments from US to UK and my network sent out payment on 11th of OCT and all they wanted from me was Swiftcode and bank account details + bank adress etc how ever when i contacted my bank they said no money will come without IBAN and Swift code As network i work with has already sent out payments without IBAN what i can do now ? any suggestions ? i am losing $XXXX here

    I think it's always been within 24 hours, for me. Or maybe I should say "within one business day".

    An "IBAN" number is only a composite number containing parts of your account number, sort-code number and so on. If you look on your bank statement you'll see the IBAN number printed somewhere, I think (it always is on mine) and you can work out how it's "compiled". It doesn't appear to mean much ... that's to say, it doesn't contain anything that the combination of a SWIFT, sort-code and account number doesn't also contain.

    I think if your bank has seen no sign of the alleged transfer, I'd be asking the alleged sender for some details/evidence of the transaction - a reference number from their bank (not just from their internal records), or whatever, in an attempt to clarify whether such a transfer has actually been sent?
