Social bookmarking apps do work...depending on how much bookmarking you need to do, I recommend finding a person to do this for you. It will save you a ton of time and add to your bottom line in the long run.

I use bookmarking demon and have a VA run the app...I sent the urls to her and she takes it from there.

I agree, get a program or pay some one to do it for you, saves a ton of time. You can suck up so much of your time posting to social sites.

I have SocialBot as well, just haven't used it yet.

I will say that I have used Onlywire. It does work fast, it is effective. But hiring out these tasks is the way to go when you are up and running and making some money. Outsourcing many projects is the way to go.

I've got socialbot 4, and set it up with a selection of my social bookmarking accounts. It is cool, with the randomized title and description tags and everything, but it seems to hang on the vast majority of the websites. The window opens, the login data (double checked and confirmed legit) goes in, and then nothing for 5 minutes. I eventually close the window and it moves onto the next service, and it hangs there too. Some of the sites work, but by and large the majority aren't working for me.

Might just be better to hire this sort of thing out.

Strange. I wonder if it is just me?

Of course, I'm often disappointed. And that makes me a sad person.

No, I'm running the program on my Mac as well using Parallels, so I wasn't expecting everything to go smoothly anyway. But for $7, it's not a bad product if they can get it working! I'll give them my full support if it works out.

Thanks guys! However would like to know for Social bookmarking, is it ok to have no-follow social bookmarking? Actually i was thinking of getting Bookmarking Demon as they mention that it's the best for social bookmarking [Reading from the forums] But understand that don't overuse it which might get it ban. How do you tend to use it in time frame? Anyone can give advice on this?

Ron Killian - Appreciate the feedback .. I also expanded on my service and now have authority bookmarks.

Brawnydt - At-least your copy works, every single software I got from Incansoft does not work. It tells me the key was not used to purchase the product, funny they all worked before and I have paypal proof I did purchase. I have now sent 2 emails with no reply from customer service, been waiting over a week since the first email.

Spark - You can read my post here, since the 1st of this month I have done well over 300,000 bookmarks. This post will help explain many things to you though as bookmarking sort of has it's own little art form and should be done in a certain way. Some just want to jump up and start bookmarking all their sites left and right without thinking of a plan ahead of time.

As long as i don't bookmark the same pages a few times [ ok make it 2], i will not get ban right? What if i intend to do is just bookmark single page and get it done with it. process to other page. [Which mean, for all web pages i only BM one will do]

BUT will i get ban if i intend to BM every single pages using 1 single account and within a day? Or should i play safe, let's say - i automatic the BM system that it's bookmarking 1-2 single pages every 2 days? but i will be using one single account for all web pages that i intend to bookmark.

Also i don really get it...does it really help to bookmark 2 times or more for a single pages? Aren't it's still the same backlinks? will it create new backlinks?

Here is the thing... I see many people that are stuck on that - "I need to bookmark all my pages asap" mentality and then they get to thinking "Will I get banned if I do this or that". I really have no idea who started that bad advice thinking but many need toput it to rest.

Let me give you a few keyphrases to think about here

"Multiple Accounts" - "Multiple Websites" - "Active User" - "Authority Bookmarks"

Now just repeat those words over and over until you got them stuck in your head. Ignore anything you have read about getting banned or bookmarking too much and etc.. The fact is the people that get banned are the ones that actually sat there and constantly spammed. It may sound harsh but they deserved what they got for spamming...

Bookmarking is a tool to use and help you increase your search rankings, your site awareness, and yes ofcourse backlinks. Using this tool the proper way can take a great deal of time even if you do have automation software. As I stated before bookmarking is an art form all on it's own and you must be able to master that art form in order to be effective.

Let's take a look at these keyphrases that I hope by now you have pounded into your head that you will even dream of bookmarking when you go to bed....

"Multiple Accounts" - You need multiple accounts because using just your own account will not get you very far and it will take you forever to get your bookmaks done. Creating at-least 5 accounts each at 50+ sites is suggested. After creating these accounts login, fill out the profile, upload a pic, seek out some friends and make invites.

"Multiple Websites" - Have multiple sites ready for bookmarking, I would suggest using your own even if you need to setup 10 or so sites (use a few friends sites also). At the same time though make sure you have a few news worthy sites so you can toss a few news links in the mix when bookmarking. Bookmark your main page and 1 page within your site someplace while randomly jumping from one site to another and adding news links in there while you are at it. You do not need to bookmark everything in one day.

When boomarking you will randomly use the 5 accounts you created, you do not need to post the same links to all accounts.. Give it a little mix and match. If you bookmarked your main site on 2 accounts this week then next week bookmark it with the other 3 and again toss in some news links and other sites, such as your friends sites.

"Active User" - As stated above create freind request, join in the community, become a member of the site and be active. Do not just use some software to bookmark a link, by being an active member your links will see a great deal more of a return.

"Authority Bookmarks" - You created 5 accounts and as stated above at some point you will have your pages bookmarks under these 5 accounts. Doing this gives your links more authority, it does not mean you will have more backlinks... It means your link will have more authority thus increasing your rankings in the search engines.

That covers the basics of those keyphrases, there is a great deal more indepth detail I could go into to. Remember that you do not need to bookmark every single page on your site because bookmarking is just "one" tool, there are many other tools to use along with the bookmarking.

For example if you have a blog then ping that blog everytime you make a post, you have a few pages bookmarked but the ping will take care of the rest of the pages. Same thing for RSS Feeds, submitting those feeds to RSS Directories will help get other pages noticed.

This is why many have hired me to do their bookmarking because there is a great deal more to it then just using some automative software. If you intend on doing the bookmarking yourself then burn those keyphrases in your mind and do not forget them.

Hi Maxy,

Welcome to WF! one tips from newbie like me...Keep reading! WF has alot of useful tactics to use. BUT don't overload youself..Ideally, keep reading have a grasp what's all this about. Don't rush into, give yourself a few method to look at it. Once you feel that this method works for you. Don't rush into it, Plan it first! Then once everything is done. Bang! Start doing IM.

P.S: I took almost 2 yrs to really start stepping into IM, previously i only start with ebay. selling here and there. BUT, don't ever think that you need that time to really start it. You can even start early! However you need to understand how these whole Internet things works - Understand the theory of each chosen methods will give you better chance to success.

[Remember just choose 1 first, using too much methods end up nothings as you are doing 'surface' testing. You need to really look into it. Understand what's the problem then fix. Everything look okay, redo one whole system at another niche. Once it's okay, you can try out new method or use that 'workable' method to extend your $$!
If you thinking of short-cuts when you haven't even start it..don't ever try it.
Perhaps a few months with sales then you can see which 'Short-Cuts' are right for you.

Yet..the most important for these whole thing work is....TAKE ACTION! i remember taking a free seminar..he mention one sentence that i always remember till now - ACTION = REWARD -, Remember ACTION = REWARD.

I actually use my own system.. I have read bookmark demon's website and the features though, as far as what is on the market right now bookmark demon will be your best investment if you are planning on doing this yourself.

The only problem with auto bookmarking programs is that they are not accurate. Most of the time they fail. When the site owner made little changes on his site form the automation will fail.

I still prefer manual submission.... You can pay for as low as $15 per site for 150 social bookmarking submission manual.

I would not waste my money as I stated above I have 3 of his softwares and none of them work, have not worked for awhile now and support ignores my emails. I can only assume because the registration keys do not function that I have been ripped off..

Looks like it is time to write up a full review and post it, there are several other post by warriors that have had problems also.

Again if you are going to do this yourself and spend the time then the best thing on the market at this time is bookmark demon. I have spoken with Edwin (the software owner) and he seems like a honest businessman that supports and stands behind his product.

Maybe they are still working on my support email from a week ago too ... Oh that's right I sent a 2nd email yesterday and still no reply.. But hey at-least your program opens, I have 3 of them that do not open at all because they say the registration key was not purchased...

Funny the programs worked before I made a complaint about the bad support that ignored my email for over a month... Gee maybe its a case of they do not like complaints so they cancel your ability to use the software. Now that would be bad business practices.

I have more than $7 invested in the non-functioning software. Wish you luck with your support issues though...

Glad to see you got a response... I just filed something with paypal and will ask for a full scale investigation unless Mike does what is right and unblock my software I have paid for...

What he does not understand is it only harms his business for people to buy software and then he goes back and removes the registration key from working just because he has issues. Very bad business practices Mike, you should know better..
