Look for the roadmap for IM

Hello
I would like to get started in IM. I am what is considered a noobie.
I have been reading these forums for a while and the the amount of info is staggering.

What would be something basic I could get into to get my feet wet and learn some simple techniques?

Thanks

A lot of the beginners start out with affiliate marketing. They find a niche/market they want to get into. Next, they put up a squeeze page (page where you give away, a freebie to get people to join your list). Then, they drive targeted traffic to that squeeze page.

Make sure to create, the autoresponder sequence before-- people join your list.

After people join your list, your autoresponder sequence sends out a newsletter filled with valuable tips. You send 2-3 filled newsletters/emails filled with good content, then on the 4th email send a promotion and try to generate affiliate sales.

Keep on doing this and testing things out. The point is that, you will need to send out tons of content that-- has value and then send out promotions. Just sending promos, will lead to people leaving your list.

You can find affiliate offers on sites such as: clickbank.com or JVzoo.

For this to work you will need these things:
    1.Domain name (namecheap)
    2. Webhosting (hostgator)
    3.Autoresponder service (aweber)

    Good Luck!

Find a decent mentor. Spend some time researching likely candidates as having someone show you often saves months of painful learning as they have already made all the mistakes. Pick someone that works in your timezone or you could be up until late regularly.
Think about what you want, plan it and stick to it until you get there, your mentor will help you.

I second that.. On top of it, you should focus in a niche which you're passionate in. Focus on one method before trying another. It's easy to "go astray" especially when there are so many information on the internet.

yeah.. agree with @shintaiguy, find a successful mentor and focus on one method.. there is so many to learn and it is very distracting when 'new methods' keep popping out.

Follow through.. test and fine tune your strategy.

    Cheers Warrior!

There are so many different ways to make money online.
The way I do it is to:
    1. find a group of people with a problem (eg how to make money online),
    2. give them a solution to their problem in exchange for their email address
    3. build a relationship with those people
    4. sell products and services to said people

    Good luck!

This is the progression I see, usually.

There are obviously a lot of bits and pieces that go into this, of course. But when you come down to it, you're building a platform, then establishing a revenue stream. You start with a website, and you stick ads on it. You build a list, and you send promos to them. You make a product, and you go out and sell it. Each step builds on the previous, and it's cyclic - the way you cycle the products and marketing methods is what really makes things interesting. But the initial petals of the flower are pretty standard.

Great video, CDarklock! I would recommend building your list by offering a free product of value for them. Get your squeeze page together, your Aweber account setup, then start driving traffic using the different traffic sources mentioned.

I agree with starting with affiliate marketing and finding a mentor. My one bit of advice is that you can do this for fun, part or full time income. On the latter, full time income, there is a pretty large learning curve in my opinion if you have to get up to the $10K per month level. Treat learning like going to college. Goodluck !!!

Well it all depends on what you want to do but i would start with affiliate marketing. And the easiest way to get started is with Youtube think, as you don't need anything apart from your affiliate link, a simple video and a fiverr gig to give you a head start.

There is no point explaining it more as all the answers can be found here, here on warrior forum.
