Authentic blog guest posting?

Hello all,

I was just looking over my backlink portfolio and I say to my self: "Wow, you have a lot of the same links, but hardly any blog or guest posts!"

I am managing a couple of things on my plate so I was curious if there are any reputable sources for getting quality, relevant posts done. I am not talking mass produced or spammyness, I am thinking more like getting in touch with a webmaster of a niche and getting a post published with my link in the content.

Anyone have any services they have used for such a thing? I know it's one of the harder things to do, and would cost a lot of money...very curious what you all think.

Thanks!

    Hey Policy,

One option - you can check out Buy Unique Articles, Order Web Site Content, Hire Freelance Article Writers and SEO Content Writers - Constant Content - Custom Website Content to purchase ready made articles which can then be used for guest blogging (you can purchase exclusive rights to put your name on them and edit as necessary) - obviously you'll pay more for better quality articles, but the better the quality of article the greater the likelihood you have of getting published.

  • TextBroker.com is also a good service to take a look at, their 5 star authors put out great content and most of them charge less than Constant-Content.

You will also be spending time dealing with those individual orders and writers. Textbroker allows you to form teams of writers you can vet. Of course the issue with that is that the writer margins are thin, so they have a lot of writer churn. You may or may not find your favorite writers there when you need them - and these sites don't usually permit private contact information.

There's also the crowdsourcing option: Ghostbloggers and Blog Mutt. Again, you're dealing with individual orders and individual writers and other liabilities. Writers willing to write on spec. Hit and miss. Other options out there worth checking out too.

    Good luck!

Try the writing section on Fiverr. Many of the guys who do 1000 words for $5 have portfolio samples.

    Policy,

You don't have to go that far. The Warriors For Hire section is yelling at you saying "Hey, I'm here!"

Here are the steps you need to do to find writers from the Warriors For Hire section.
    1. Visit Warriors For Hire.
    2. Scroll down to the very bottom. Find the 'Display Options' area.
    3. On the "PREFIX" dropdown list, select "CONTENT."
    4. Click the "SHOW THREADS" button. That's it. All the providers of content writing services will appear, for which we're one of them.

    I hope this helps.

I've gotten a few freelancers to do high quality blog and article work in the past. I always paid a minimum of $10 per submission and looked for people who were either native or very fluent english speakers, with some experience in the field if possible. I got lucky and found a few students on Freelancer who were studying directly in the fields I needed, which meant great quality work. Plus if they can put it on their resume, it benefits both of you!

would you allow them to use the articles and post them into their own blogs? say, what if they will promise to include a backlink?

I pay for exclusive content and article/blog SEO work separately, so I generally want the stuff on my sites *only* on my sites. Even if I was to loosen up on that, I would want a good lead time so that Google would see my site as the original publisher so as to avoid duplicate content penalties.

  • College students studying your niche are great resources. Offer X amount to create blog posts. They often know more than random freelancers and have research skills.

One of the SEO Services i don't see people offer is guest blog and i believe you should know why.

The 2nd option is to get a private blog network which will be pricey.

But here is what i suggest about guest blogging:

    1. Get about 5 to 10 articles monthly on a really really interesting, discovery, hard to find topic or what ever. It should be related to your niche.

    2. Find a list of high traffic sites that accepts articles like article directories, press release, web 2.0s and the likes and submit your article to them unspun with a link to your site. Ensure you diversify your anchors as well.

And post your articles to them..

Depending on the topic you write on, it can get featured and get you lots of traffic, many bloggers will get them on their sites too and even if it doesn't get featured you will still enjoy a good level of content syndication.

I'm saying this because finding guest blogs to post on can be a daunting task and building a network of blog can be pricey too.

I also just noticed a Private Network http://www.warriorforum.com/build-your-network/ here, this can be an opportunity but not free, i don't know how much it cost yet but looking forward to tapping into that.
