Video for promo?

Hi,

I am wondering if it would be a good idea to create several (or many) videos where a girl is drawing some cool looking images and at the end writes my company URL and name next to the image. Then spread the video in YouTube and Facebook. Do you think this would work for getting new visitors to the site?

    Viral videos certainly help increase traffic as well as helps in your rankings in the search engines.

    Make sure the video is interesting and contains valuable information.

    If you have a viral worthy video, you will see alot of traffic start coming rather quickly.

    Videos are absolutely more effective than texts. Before you syndicate it to the other social media networks, make sure that your video has relevant content. Think like if you were in the shoes of the viewer. Make it as appealing as possible. Do not just make a video for the sake of making it just like link building in SEO.

      It's a thing of taste and planning, research whether the video you described will work for you... give it a try!

      Nevertheless video marketing is more and more important today. Don't miss out on the YouTube opportunities! While it still works... perhaps there will come a time when YouTube will behave differently (just like Google made SEO harder with the Panda and Penguin updates).
