Anybody get Video Profit Monster working?

I clicked a banner link in the warrior forum and signed up for VideoProfitMonster. First problem was I never received confirmation email from aweber so I had to manually get it confirmed with them with many back and forths. I get many other responses from aweber and I even have an aweber account without issue. Finally after I got to a point of being able to log in it wouldn't let me access the training which it directs all new users to. Their response was that I didn't pay for training only the product even though the page directs all new users to training not just certain ones. Then I tried the get started now link and I got the same error message "Sorry, you do not have access to this content". At this point I do not have access to anything. They were responsive at first usually responding within 10 minutes or so but now I have gotten no response in 5 hours to their 24/7 support.
Has anyone gotten the service to work and is it any good of should I just file a paypal dispute?
Thanks,
Ed

I honestly can't find any reviews on this software and to be honest I'm a little skeptical about what it does or how it works... to me it seems like another bad sales page and software that seriously isn't worth it. I would request a refund if it were up to me. Best to buy a product that has many reviews and is good to offer. Too tempting to dig out the wallet only to be disappointed.

No, I couldn't get it to work. I was a little bugged as I was hoping it would be a great product and was very keen to have a look. If there is a similar product out there that actually works then please get back to me.

I also bought the software it will do what its supposed to do but you never get to do the cloning and use the videos as a money magnet as its claimed unless you pay for training. I have since paid for training and i havent heard back from them in the last three days and if I dont get any joy by end of day tomorrow I think it will make sense to ask for a refund. I will update you guys if i get any response back from the product maker.

I did finaly get the links working after a few days with no response from support. They just started working.
Then support started answering my 4 questions about once a day for the next 4 days all saying that it would be working withing 24 hours even though even by the first post it was working.
The software does seem to make it quick and easy to get some numbers and keywords. Nothing you couldn't do manually with a lot more work. I will probably keep it. Would be interested to know if the advanced training adds anything. The software gives a lot of data and not sure what to do with it. The free 4 training videos are each less than 2 minutes and doesn't cover much.
    Thanks,
    Ed

I bought video profit monster from that banner also. Here is my review.

Let me just start off by saying I'm new to internet marketing and doing anything online that has to deal with making money. I just thought youtube would be the easiest way to make money because I see so many people get scammed every other way.

so I bought it and so far so good. I went ahead and bought the coaching also. Keep in mind I'm new to this so my current coach is really helping me a lot. I'm only 2 days in and I feel really good about this.

The software you have to take it for what it is. It goes to youtube and helps you duplicate success from others success. At first I was like that's stealing right? But after you think about it, there is nothing new under the sun. I did some research and I found some very interesting quotes on duplicating material, so I don't feel bad at all anymore.

Like others I was looking for reviews on the product before I bought it but there weren't any so I decided to give my 2 cents. With the coaching I see myself making a decent income online. Even without the coaching if I had the knowledge I think I could use the software to make a decent income.

If I were to rate the software it would get 7 out of 10, if I were to rate the coaching I would give it 10 out of 10 very helpful guy. Learned a lot in 2 days.

      I hope this helps.

Oh I hate when people do this...

    WHY the unnecessary quotation marks???

Are you trying to imply that you're NOT an Insider?

Is it not REALLY an unfair advantage?

    God damn.

Hmmm ... well I wish this thread had been here a week ago.

I purchased this and I can only say I broke my own rule and paid the price. The rule? Never purchase anything like this without checking reviews on WF first!

So ... my experience was ...

The software itself (which only works on Windows btw) collects some data. I never found any counting of backlinks to Youtube videos which I'm sure the sales page I watched promised, and for me was one of the selling points since SEO Quake can no longer gather such data.

Included with the software was a members only page with four videos on it - one for each button of the software. Each video shows what happens when you press the button in question and you are told what to input - e.g. a youtube video url.

None of the videos lasts longer than around 1 minute 50 secs.

And none explain how to make use of, collate, or interpret the rather complex data the software collects.

So you get a database of numbers and statistics.

Now, if you are good at math, or you can figure out what to do with the data, then maybe, just maybe, you're in with a chance of making use of it.

But I was to be hugely disappointed.

Below the final video was a large orange button - the kind you see with "Buy Now" on it usually. Only this one said, "Become A Student"

Clicking it took me to a PayPal page where I was required to part with no less than $199 for "coaching"!

      Not even for more videos!

I wrote to the creator, Lance Shelton, and asked for an immediate refund.

Instead of my money I got a reply saying I was the only disappointed customer and asking me to explain my request. The tone seemed to be of genuine concern.

He said that the coaching was "optional" as some people could figure out for themselves what to do with the generated info, but also pointed out that for anyone who did not understand it they would need the "coaching." So, it's not optional then! Or did I miss something there?

      I wrote again.

This time the reply stated that he wanted me to make money with the product and had the gall to ask me how much I would be willing to pay for "coaching."

I told him that I did not want coaching since I had expected some instructions to be supplied with the product. However, I made him a proposition which was that I would pay him the requested $199 once I had generated $398 in sales revenue (i.e. 50%) from use of his software - and all he had to do was supply me with some simple instructions. A pdf or an email would have sufficed.

This must have snookered Mr. S. because the next day I heard from a member of the support team, who alleged that he was not aware of my correspondence with the author, (which may have been true for all I know), but it meant that I had to begin my story over again. This conversation was done via "live chat" and I still have the transcripts of this and the subsequent conversation.

I was again persuaded to take coaching. I resisted again. More pressure was put on as I was assured that the gentleman would personally look after me. I resisted. I insisted that some kind of basic instruction should have been supplied with the product and that the sales page I saw, (which may or may not have been changed by now), was misleading in that it implies that you will be able to use and understand the product you buy. No mention was ever made of "coaching."

Eventually, I was assured that my refund request would be processed by the billing department and that I would have my money back within 24 hours.

      Guess what?

      They didn't send it back.

So I got on the "live chat" again - got the same chap - who told me I would have my money "some time." I got him to assure me that this meant "by morning" which he did - and I have the transcript of that conversation.

      Guess what?

Right again! No money back in the morning.

I raised a claim with PayPal and waited 12 more hours.

You know what happened, don't you?

So I escalated it to a dispute ... and finally a few hours later ... the money was returned.

Now, your experience may be different. Perhaps they've learned from the lessons they went through with me to treat their customers with a little more respect - this was a week ago.

So, you'll have to draw your own conclusions.

Mine is that it's a very slick sales page for a rather poor (albeit working) piece of software and probably the worst customer support I've ever encountered.

I shall certainly be staying away ... and I will never, ever buy a piece of kit until I've seen the WF reviews again.

I hope that's helpful to someone at least - and I genuinely hope that people who do buy are getting good results and good support. I'd love to see that.

it sounds like we're in the same boat. I just finished an open chat with their support service which I believe is probably outsourced. They said they would submit a ticket to their billing department for a refund only after I refused multiple times to download their software. I guess they want to do and over your shoulder trouble shoot of how the program works but I wasn't interested in that. after reading your post I don't have a good feeling about the rest of this process.
I believe the whole idea behind the program is find the popular videos, download the video, duplicate the keywords and back links going to the video and re-uploading it as your own along with a PPC offer...

As I told the support the program crashed multiple times on me and never was able to download a video from YouTube. In hindsight it and don't think this is very ethical and hope I just get a refund.

          Hi Rich

Yeah ... sounds like they have a whole strategy going on. Did you get told you were the only dissatisfied customer too?

I will never buy anything associated with Lance Shelton's name again. What a terrible way to do business!

Good luck dealing with them. Put pressure on - it's the only way to get your money back.

Thanks for sharing - at least I know for sure I'm not alone now!

They didn't tell me that I was the only one. They did say he had some new and exciting updates planned for the program and since I was such a valued customer they didn't want me to miss out. I told them that I still wanted a complete refund and when they're new updated version comes out and look at a review copy. I have my doubts if there is actually a new version. I also told them there was a thread started over here about vpm and things didn't look too good.
let me know if anything happens with the refund and I'll do the same...

I guess you don't understand the meaning of a review? See we give our fellow members a honest review of a product. The question was asked and we answered... Product didn't work for me and i'm getting the run around from the ownwer... that being said we appreciated you being positive!

Looks like lance has his croonies in the forum too. Squash that bad talk. lol
I just think if you say a product does something and you get some to buy it. A little customer service would be nice. I thought about buying it but my brown eyes quivered when the stay on this page discount download didn't work. If he can write good software people can use he could figure out how to use the classic marketing pitch page. Just my 2 cents worth. Thanks gentlemen for the review.
