Stay @ home and work hard as HELL until you get paid! Untill your an internet celebrity, work HARD until my bones start to hurt.

Just want to express this as, the problem when i speak to new IM'ers is that they so just do as much as they should. and expect everything to just fall into there laps.

for example select youtube as a marketing avenue and just pound down onit for hours upon hours.

    I conclude that you're telling newbies to stick with just 1 marketing strategy and pound it out? Alot of people did that with Google Adwords and EzineArticles.... then God came down and destroyed these businesses.

    I would always add variety in my marketing efforts. I think you should too.

    Sticking and being consistent in 'pounding' a niche or group of niches is good. It's better to be creative and systematic in your marketing strategies, however.

    Also, I've learned that before I believe somebody else's words, regardless if it works for them or not, I need to try it myself because the results are, in most cases, dependent to WHO DOES IT.

    On "vacation" from my real job and working my ass off (had a few personal days I needed to burn before thanksgiving). I wouldn't be as far as I am if I hadn't spent every free hour working on my stuff. Hopefully you are right and this single mindedness pays off.

    I would add for IM newbie you must explore everything in the net. Don't put any limit in your marketing efforts. Go beyond. In everything you do in IM there is always a trial and error. If you that your marketing strategy don't try to think for a way that can make things work out.

    You can have your marketing campaigns in different ways. Social media is a good example where you can have your marketing campaigns.
