To get them boosted in good and getting vistors?

IE Fiverr Gigs, Manual Backlinkning, Etc
#videos #youtube
  • Yeah keep blasting those links if you want "short term" gains. Or you can build solid websites with real content and link that way.

The EASIEST way is to find a low competition local keyword and find a local business to "surprise."

I'm not sure if I mentioned this here but I got a $150 (give or take a few) service for FREE for only about 2 hours of work (note: this has been done in 20 minutes by other marketers).

This is the same as making $150 for only 2 hours (or LESS) of work.

    Here's all I did:

    1. Find a LOW competition keyword for a local business that gave you great service (don't worry about searches)
    2. Put the keyword in the Title (Ex. Dr . Bill Joel in Austin, Tx Review) , Description (write a description with a link at the top, Business contact info, and keyword and other LSI words in the description), Tags.
    3. Create backlinks using SocialMonkee, Digg, Reddit, etc. (Only do if you are not ranking within a day b/c I don't think it matters if the keyword is Super easy)
    4. Get some views using ViewTubeTrain, Vagex, or other similar site (again, only do if you are not ranking within a day b/c I don't think it matters if the keyword is Super easy)
    5. When it's ranking, contact the business (in person, email. letter, or phone) and tell them you had a great time at their business and wanted to thank them with a video marketing their business.

Don't expect anything in return. Just show gratitude to good business you use. You'll probably strike up a conversation and can mention what you do for a living...internet marketing.

So, maybe, you might get a free service, but more importantly, you are getting the word out about your (video marketing) service.

    Hope the gives you ideas,
    Charlie

I do youtube wso's also but there closed, I have over 200 videos on 100 accounts in the top five of google.

I will give you my secret.........................

I do not do this much so listen closely.

I can take a blank video and rank it on google right now.

You need the right keywords in the title, in the channel name and the description. You need at least 1,000 views to get it up there to stay.

Use vagex and the reload every firefox extension. do the firefox extension first then when it hangs at about 300 switch to vagex then go back to firefox reload every.

This will work and Don't say I told you.

    "Edit"
I can't believe I just did that. Oh well have to be nice once in a while lol.

I know what vagex is but what does it have to do with firefox extensions? Can you explain this part more clearly?

Vagex has nothing to do with reload every, but it is a firefox extension. You should use both, to get your views, by having firefox up with the vagex extension you will earn credits so your links will get seen also.

The four main factors for ranking a Youtube video at the moment are number of links pointing at a video, number of video views, the amount of time a video is watched and interaction (likes, comments, subscribers). You obviously have to put your keyword in the title, description and tags too and I also like to name the file as my keyword.

You can buy cheap links on Fiverr (look for 50,000 blog comment, 600 social bookmarks, 20,000 wiki links etc) and then buy views on Vagex and be sure to set it so they watch your whole video (on Vagex you can set the time, e.g. 30, 60, 90 seconds and also specify you want comments etc). Fiverr also has some views gigs with added comments, likes, subscribers but the views tend to be for less than 2 seconds so not great for this purpose.

Be sure to write a few hundred words in the description and use multiple related keywords. If you want to rank highly in Google as well as Youtube you do much the same but number of links are more important, just keep adding a nice variety of links, i.e. blog comments, wikis, social bookmarks, web 2.0s, edus and so on.

I rank a lot of videos high in both Google and Youtube.

There are many great ideas here. My suggestion is you find a recent wso about youtube marketing and make the investment. Making videos and getting them ranked is not hard if you choose the right keywords, that the real magic. I also suggest you just keep making videos some will work and some will not so just keep at it.

First step as others have said is optimizing your video by placing your targeted keyword in the beginning of the title and description (followed by about a 500 word description).

Once uploaded, the first thing I like to do is get some views coming in.
I've used this exact gig from fiverr which has worked very well for me in the past:

1500 Real Youtube Views in 24 hours from United States

After the views, I'll order some backlinks from fiverr. Some high PR backlinks, SE Nuke blasts, I like to mix it up a littel bit.

This strategy has worked pretty well for me.

Making sure you're targetting a keyword phrase that gets a decent amount of traffic is the first thing to do to ensure you get visitors once you're ranked.

Going to the Google keyword tool, and/or youtube keyword tool is a great place to start.

Then after you've identified a great keyword and have an offer to go with, create and optimize your video.

Bring in some views through Vagex or the reload every firefox add-on (as others have suggested. And blast about 1k social bookmarks to it to give it a nice boost in the SERPS.

Then let the link juice kick in and order some fiverr gigs to rank it higher (if needed).

It seems to me that youtube does not operate the same way as google. That is, it seems to me that youtube allows you to "stuff keywords", use spammy links, etc. to rank, whereas if you do that with google you're likely to get sandboxed.

I was looking at some youtube videos ranking higher than mine WITH THE EXACT SAME VIDEO, and I noticed that what they did was this: they put a list of about 25 keywords, just listing them one after the other, one per line under their video. Then they had some text - maybe 200-300 words, and then repeated the list again. Then threw in the link to their site 2-3 times which of course is only a live link at the top as youtube only allows one live link if I remember correctly.

Anyway, I'd have thought this type of keyword stuffing would not be tolerated but as it turns out it is REWARDED with a #1 ranking. Therefore I did the same thing with a couple of my videos and am waiting to see if it gets me up to #1 or #2.

So from what some of you are saying, cheap spammy auto-posted backlinks also work well for youtube videos? SocialMonkee, senuke-x etc type links work well to rank on youtube? (I wouldn't want to use these for my money site but apparently rules for youtube vids are a lot more relaxed...)

Exactly and if you start a new channel with your main keyword, I can just about guarantee you to rank number one, you will bounce but you will probably stay from 4 to 1 always. I use as many keywords as it will take, depending on my opening paragraph it can change drastically.
