Business License for Internet Marketing?

Hi,
I'm from India and I'm a novice in internet marketing .I'm interested in affiliate marketing and website flipping . My question is do I need any business license or other permissions for getting started? please help!

    No you don't need a business license. However in the future as your business grows you may want to get one along with a business account.

    I recommend you do keep books though for tax purposes.

      For record keeping purpose, will the printed copies of payment list and transaction records be enough?

    For starters that is ok, but you should keep books showing what you earn and what you spend. Then you can track your profit/loss which will be handy if your business grows and you want to get a mortgage, car loan, or decide to incorporate.

    If it is just a hobby then it is no biggie but as you grow into a real business you will want detailed financial records.
