You mean PPC to get people to watch your YouTube video(s)... Then... What?

You're using your YouTube video to sell something to redirect them to a squeeze page?

  • I have made some test :

I checked price for click in adwords for certain phrase - it was about £0.90-£1.20
Then I made promotional video for youtube - the price for view was £0.04-£0.08

That is why I`m asking as the difference in cost is huge

People on YouTube are jut regular people. Some will be "buyers" and some won't be.

The goal is to make sure your viewers are
TARGETED, especially if they're paid views.

Don't just send traffic from anywhere or pay
someone to send fake, not traffic as that
    likely won't convert.

No I`m not buying fake views , just using youtube PPC.
Traffic is targeted by keywords in description and campaign settings (area, age , gender, interest).
I`m just curious if someone had success with youtube PPC ,as I tested it only spending about £20.

I would say to look at the average demographic.

Who is that really? I'd say it's the average person in the mall.

In my estimation, these people are typically seeking out videos more often than not, and increasingly so.

In that case, I'd say video is absolutely plausible, for just about everything.

    Just my $.02

I would say whether they're buyers or not depends significantly on the keywords you're targeting are buyer keywords, or if your video is set up to capture buyers, not just on the general youtube traffic itself.

The only traffic I've ever bought for a YouTube video is from fiverr...just to get views, likes, and comments and rank it higher. But the video is always the means to get someone to the sales page/squeeze page. At least that's how I've always done it.....no good?

You wouldn't know if you don't try it Try to setup a small budget PPC Campaign just to test it if it's worth spending.

Finally... someone with some common sense. BIG corporations would look at you with deer eyes if you said this to them.
